Description:
No Holds Barred

The plan was to come home from summer vacation and host an elite cup, but word on the street is, that the evil mastermind WormkoS already filled the spot. Thus it is another intermediate cup. This time is different though. This time the referee won't call time out, when you get hit in the groin area with an iron club, because there are no rules! All glitches are allowed to be used, unless there is one that allows you to kill a worm instantly with little effort, like there was a girder glitch once. Oh, and the prize money was raised from $10 to 15€.

Participants

Everybody is free to participate regardless of skill level, clan, gender or race, except for the ones who had proven to be not reliable in my last cup and landed on the black list. It is required that you are willing to play your games in given time. Do NOT sign up if you have doubts you are able to play ALL games within the time limit.
The blacklisted players for this tournament are: Ivo, K4Tsis, Krezo, Mark, Stefan22

Rules and regulations

- Rude or disrespectful behavior can result in disqualification
- ONL scheme is the only valid scheme.
- The default map choice system is CCO or OOC. If both players agree they can play OOO or CCC as well as tunnel and t17 maps.
- Games in the group stage are best of 3 and best of 5 during KOs
- in case a group is not finished activity is prefered over win/loss ratio. (eg: player 1 played all group games and lost all | Player 2 played 2 games and won both | still player 1 proceeds into KOs)
- in case there will be people with same amount of points in a (finished) group the won/lost rounds will be considered. Won rounds minus lost rounds equals the difference. The player with the higher difference proceeds. If the difference is the same a tiebreaker will be played.
- You are obliged to let a streamer join your game if he asks for it.

Deadlines

After the sign ups I will set an activity deadline of seven days. Those, who neither play at least one game not arrange a game publicly in this thread during this activity time period, will be replaced by people on the waiting list. Afterwards a second deadline of another ten days will be set. All group games will have to be played before we meet the second deadline. And remember, I'm not here to babysit you, I provide you an opportunity to measure your skill with some of the best people, that ever played this scheme. On top of that you get a chance to win a little money, so think ahead and plan your games early. It's best you play them all right away. As usual there is no chance of postponing the deadline.

Please, arrange games publicly in this thread, so I will be provided with maximum amount of information to make a reasoned decision, when a possible walk over has to take place.

KOs

The new double elimination bracket will be used in the KO stages.

Prize

In order to receive the prize money you must a have a PayPal account. You are not prohibited from taking part if you don't have an account, you merely won't get the money in case you win.

That's why you start your cup parallel to CWT?   :D

I had no information about CWT starting date whatsoever or whether there will be another CWT at all, when I opened it. If you start sign ups in October I don't see how it's parallel, especially when this here has a different set of rules. But if there are plenty of people, that would like to take part in both and feel like they can't manage them both, I will consider putting it on ice.

Host has wise position concerning CWT.

If his tourney ends before CWT then great.
If not he will freeze it so it won't hard CWT.
Seems like a nice and friendly setup.

I just made a joke, referring to Jakka's expression "filled spot". Freez a running tourney can't be an option. lol

Oh, and the prize money was raised from $10 to 15€.
Is it just a typo or is the cash prize actually like $20?
