DOOM Remix - Feedback (Mainly Walrus)

So yeah i've put this together in the last couple hours, it's a rough version like obviously.

The sound at the very start before guitar comes in, will improve that obviously, it's the main thing that doesn't sound right imo.

Just want to see what you think before I spend a lot of time on it improving it.

The drop basslines will variate more if we end up happy with this.

Is it just me, but the samples used have appeared elsewhere in your songs?

I'm using the exact same drums(mixed ever so slightly differently, with a different speed, and hi hats have a different groove) and similar sound design from Chips n Trees, because it's exactly what I want.

I like to load up old songs as templates and use what I like from them.

haha pretty awesome, only thing i would suggest is sampling more of the original MIDI track intermittently within the recording.

I have all the midi in there except for the kickdrum and main snares which I took out to put my own in.

As good as it is the song really is that basic lol.

I was however going to add some sound effects n stuff from the game or other doom games if I can find anything.

I might even used some of the samples I ripped from Doom the film which I used a few for another song years ago

Any ideas? Feel free to put them so I csn try
