The only feature it always had is the wormpod. Basically you have 3 wormpods, and each one of them lets you set unique scheme options.  I guess that's it. Though WA have project x? Compatible with older updates, seems a bit bothersome.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Yes fada, what walrus said + new polished sounds (?) (most people i read chose for the classic voices though). So yeah, nothing new compared to the WWP we played  ;)

A wise choice you have made. The game is also unstable and crashes often due to bugs. As of now, the game is not worth it. Unless Team17 fixes it, which I have a good feeling that they will. They do reply & take heed to the reviews that are posted on Steam.

Speaking with HHC yesterday made me sure they will not fix it. Even if they fix the bugs there is no community, I read the servers are dead like max 2-3 people in prime time. I am glad I didn't purchase, though I would have refunded within 2 hours anyway since that's no problem with Steam anymore. :D

Yeah, the only good things about WWP Remastered will be ported to Worms: Armageddon in my first theme, Mini-theme 1.

Pfff... I brought nearly all the worms games. All together I played them for less than 1% of the time I played W:A =)
I'm not sure if I really should buy a nearly 100% clone of W:A.

Now I'm afraid, W:A 4.0 won't have the (few) additional WWP features, or worse W:A 4.0 won't be allowed by team17 because it would compete with WWP.
Does any1 know if (maybe even when) there will be W:A 4.0 [with wormpod etc. features]?

One day CyberShadow will push worms source code to github by accident…

lol, WA can't compete in WWP in any way.
T17 would have to release a MASSIVE update in order for those two to even be close to comparing, so don't worry about that, they're probably aware of that

Worms World Party Remastered Update #1

Hello Wormers,
We really hope that you’ve been enjoying Worms World Party Remastered over the last few months. We been listening to your feedback and we know that there are ways that the game can be improved and we’ve been working towards making it a better experience.

• Frontend upgraded for a high resolution experience at 1080p.

• The game now runs at 60 fps on recommended specs
• Alt tab issue improved: alt-tabbing/minimizing no longer breaks the game but you will have to click the WWPR shortcut to get back into the game
• Added control scheme page for keyboard in the Option menu
• Various improvements on the pad controls
• Various improvements on the mouse sensitivity

Some of the issues we encountered ended up being harder to fix than we first thought, which delayed this update, but we are committed to supporting Worms World Party Remastered and the awesome Worms Community. We appreciate your patience. Now go drop some concrete donkeys on your enemies...

WWP Remastered gets an update: V1.134
« Reply #117 on: October 20, 2015, 02:47 PM »
V1.134 update has been released in Steam. It apparently fixes the performance issues, adds a help-section for the keyboard and controller mappings and introduces an HD menu. It's not available on gog.com yet.

Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it

Yes, it uses global steam leaderboards (points). However, there's no one online.
