There might be some rare cases in which using such maps can be some REAL advantage for one player. But I think a lot of luck has to be involved for this to happen.
In this given replay you simply fucked it up by zooking yourself in your first turn. If you didnt do that, you could have come back easily.
So I think maps like this are fine for hysteria.
