Chrome's new feature "safe browsing" is blocking most of TUS downloads like replays or schemes...

Reason being these file types are not common according to Chrome. So they have decided "uncommon = unsafe"

You can solve this problem within 2 ways:

1. Disable google Chrome safe browsing and go back to what Chrome used to be:

Chrome settings => Privacy and security => Security => select "No protection"


2. Whitelist specific extensions: (recommended)

- Download a replay and let Chrome tell you it has blocked it.
- Press CTRL + J. It will open up your downloads list.
- Next to your blocked file there's a button "Keep dangerous file"

By clicking on "Keep dangerous file", that file extension will be whitelisted and for those file extensions Chrome won't block anymore.

As requested, TUS Separate Team17 league started.

A side note:
TUS has so many leagues and I know it can be quite confusing. In the future all these leagues will be merged into one single league. (initial idea by M3ntal/TheKomodo) Until then, I'm creating these leagues to keep activity as much as it's possible.

Announcements / TRL Team17 league started!

TRL season 29 started!

Official scheme for this season is Deadcode's Team17. The default terrain style is IICC. Can be changed upon agreement. The season length is 3 month since we're hitting the new year.

Leagues General / Using Wormkit modules in leagues

I've been talking to Deadcode about recent problems regarding Wormkit modules. He has confirmed that he will be working on some solutions in the next update.

Meanwhile, if you want to use Wormkit modules in leagues, you must inform your opponent beforehand in the lobby. Any module that gives you even the tiniest edge must be informed in the game lobby and should be enabled only upon agreement. Obviously failing to do so will void those games.

Examples:
Some Wormkit modules like wkRemapKeys or modules that are solely for visuals like wkFlamingHealthBars can pass without informing your opponent.
Modules like wkWormOrder, wkPin or even CrateFinder must be informed.

If you're in doubt about a module, you can always send me a PM.

Schemes / Double Damage support is added to scheme editor

Double Damage support has been added to TUS scheme editor. Since the game engine treats Double damage as a weapon, you can modify 4 values of Ammo/Power/Crate/Delay for this utility. However only Ammo and Delay values are used in the game and Power/Crate ones are ignored at the moment.

Settings a value for the Delay works like any other weapon. Double Damage will be activated when that specified turn is reached.
Settings a value for the Ammo, makes the game to use all those ammo at once. Enabling "Conserve instant utilities" in the advanced game options, will allow the game to consume Double Damage by one each turn.

Example: If Double Damage Ammo is set to 3 and delay of 4:

All 3 Double Damages will be used in the 5th turn of the player.

If "Conserve instant utilities" is enabled in the advanced menu, one Double Damage will be used for 5th, 6th and 7th turn of the game.

Alright guys, time to work! I've decided to polish my mobile app skills. Instead of writing small "testing" applications why not channel that effort into TUS. So it's official, one TUS app coming right up for both Android and iOS devices.

What features would you like to see in TUS app?

Announcements / TUS now supports v3.8 schemes

The support for v3.8 schemes is added to TUS schemes. The new settings can be found below the weapon options and it looks (and works) almost identical to the game UI settings.




On the scheme page, I've added a new category called "modified values".  It only shows the modified extended settings, so that you won't have to scan through every category to see the changes. Here's the leagues Roper scheme as an example:

I've been hosting this website for nearly 13 years and a handful of these discussions were posted. None of them went any place good and at this point I'm not giving these topics a second chance. I don't want any racism discussions in these forums. I'll remove them when I see them.

Sorry for the big delay. I've been restoring the map database for a while now. Recoded some parts and even improved the map recognition system for both BIT and PNG maps.

Total maps on TUS at the moment: 157,984
Recovered maps: 156,444 (99.0% success)
Missing maps: 1,485

Here's the list of missing maps sorted by author alphabetically. If you have any of them, please send them to me.

Maps / Need your mappacks

Something happened in the map database I had to disable the maps. Lots of maps are corrupted and I'm gonna try to scan and correct them.

I'd appreciate it if you could upload your mappack(s) somewhere and PM me the download link.
