What's the point of Public Challenges if replays are private?

hmmmm in roperace challenges it is not bad to use public replays, but some of these battlerace maps require puzzle solving gameplay where you have to figure out what kind of jump to use and where in order to beat the map without receiving fall damage... and if the replays are public, it would just show all the jumps to someone who doesn't want to figure them out themselves =D

Didn't know that. But anyway, after challenge is over it would be nice to upload replays, imo.

Probably my 8th or 9th try at this map, this one crushed my spirit and made me stop trying for a time.  Had a real fast start, then applied the astroglide. ;D

nice glide jump =)

I tried to implement those glide jumps in my newest battlerace map. but the way I create my maps, it makes it very difficult to do precise stuff like that xD so I quickly gave up on those

yeah glide jumps are difficult you have to force the player to have correct sub pixel placement at the start which is hard, and if they miss it, then usually have to have stairs to get back to the glide entry point.  tried very hard to implement this in a practical way on my maps, never panned out.

Finally got realfoe, btw.  Made a hot mess of the first climbing section in the underground, but overall not terrible.  Wish I would have finished one of my faster runs, but this is the one i didn't fail at the end.
