Reminder: challenge deadline - Wednesday June 15, 23:00 GMT

almost 10 day(s) in now -> less than 6 day(s) left of the challenge.
Newest scores are up now. (Stripe and Ray)

@ThaShady1, your first 25sec were great. your 2 falls were what held down your score though. I encourage you to keep trying.
@Statik, you said "no1 cares about tricks as I see" but your 1 fall with 3sec left was what held down your score.
with a safe finish, your turn would have easily passed krd's. keep trying.

In my opinion that is what is wrong with these challenges. A safe finish should be penalized not rewarded. The nicest overall turn should have the highest score, regardless of how many falls. My run was not my best, I was completely cold and did that run in 4 mins, I was more concerned about the other scores.

I do appreciate you taking the time to host these challenges though.

Heh, I just wanted to write the same message. Since franz mentioned I got to rope safe in the end, it made me kinda mad ::) My answer is short: NEVA! ;D And that's why I finished both my tries a little earlier :D

A safe finish is penalized -> by it not improving their score much at all, possibly even hurting it (depending on how 'safe')
On the other hand, every fall is penalized worse -> so the goal should still be to avoid any falls at all.

Just letting you know my thought process.

I do appreciate your participation here ThaShady1, and I hope you continue to do so.

I'm not sure my run is creative enough to beat KRD's, but I'll try some more later in any case ;0

Mablak's style looks so strange to me :D But at least it looks like a warma, and not a trick race ;)

That's an excellent combination in the middle of your 8:02 run, Stripe.

Mab's ridiculously well-timed taps blow me away as usual, but it's true that with 45 second turns, it's only harder to squeeze in both a slower, tricky section as well as more than just a few kicks and Spikes done at crazy speed; he did the former better than anyone else can, really, but maybe ran out of time for other stuff because of it.

Well, my key lock limits me on both ends, so in my attempt, I was forced (It wasn't a strategy, honest!) to go the middle road and it ended up impressing franz more than I thought it would. But I honestly think that there's at least five of you here who could beat it without having to spend ages on this one map. That's also why it feels to me like our scores are perhaps a bit high, but I haven't made my mind up about that yet. Need to interrogate franz on the matter first and see what he's doing differently compared to contests.

Oh and it is a pretty great map. Starts feeling a lot less cramped once you get used to it and the sharp corners make speed easier to maintain than it is on most Warmer maps. Plus as Mab has shown, there's a bunch of neat places for what I like to call midget roping there, you just have to spot them.  :P

Is there anyway to skip faster to the peoples runs? Takes me forever to skip turns to get to peoples runs that are after like 20 and 30 mins.
