Tournament #1001, ZaR Roper

<< < (2/3) > >>

TheKomodo:
Kradie is impatient  :D

You guys should play the game and I can adjust the standings, since walrus was delayed by doing something nice for the community.

Kradie:
No one agreed to anything, it was Walrus's own agreement he made with himself.
Dibz was waiting for his game, he wasn't to thrilled to learn that his opponent had left the tournament in favor something else. When you sign up for something, at least try a little, and don't flee so fast. You would have my deepest understanding if it was something serious but it wasn't.

dibz specifically said he was okay to play, and that he still would, but you had just closed the tournament before he had the decision to.

you are living in your own world again.

It had little to do with fleeing and a lot to do with the community.  Many people wanted to see this streamed, I got seperate requests from korydex, fad, and dr abegod; and had 2 commentators lined up for the final for the intermediate tournament.  I was going to stream the final of the zar tournament as well, but your obtuse nature prevented it.  Try to moderate in a way that doesn't directly clash with the tournament you are hosting in the future.  Your 'my way or the highway' modus operandi is just going to reduce participation in zar tournaments in the future.

TheKomodo:
Can I just say, no reason to argue here, you misunderstood each other, imo none of you done anything bad, if walrus and dibz agreed, cool, if they didn't and Kradie shut because it's Tournament so his rules, that's cool too.

I was streaming the Intermediate Final on Sunday but they had problems so unfortunately I am unavailable through the week :(

Kradie, if in future this is a problem, may I suggest including some words in the description stating players will forfeit if they leave(for any reason).

I mean, no cash involved, or anything, it's all fun, so why get upset about it :)

I'll stay out of it now, if you need anything let me know.

Edit before someone else posts - This is exactly the stupid kinda of thing i'm talking about in the other thread few weeks ago that us WA players are responsible for, the easier life gets for people in general, the more stupid sh*t they will complain and argue about, i'm guilty of this too btw, not sitting here blaming everyone else.

We need to support each other more, please, my point proven when that random guy came on complaining about the state of Wnet the other day...

Not saying go around treating each other like saints, I bet everyone of us has plenty friends in real life done WAY worse stuff than this and we forgive them, sort it out, apologize, and move on...

Just try to think "Does this really affect me bad...", then make a suggestion to improve, instead of whining about how it doesn't, cuz usually both sides are right in their own way anyway lol.

Try not to use the community to shield your reasoning, because I believe this is on you. It is not my fault that you decided to join a tournament that was already scheduled. You can't blame this on me, you simply abandoned it. If you are to join something, you ought to try and stay committed as longest it takes.

Dibz agreed with me on this, once committed, don't back out. It is true that he said it was alright with it, but he didn't like it, and he would had prefered his opponent to man up and fight the final fight.

Yes Komodo, that is a good idea, I will add this rule about abandoning in future tournaments.
