Nothing homophobic about it and here could be a reason as to why: DassFass perhaps felt betrayed over the underwhelming support he received from his fellow rope comrades. Over a month has passed and DassFass simply wanted to make a cup for the community where no one showed up. When DassFass saw that Scrappy joined the cup when it was announced dead, and Scrappy's post, it finally snapped for DassFass. Therefore he chose to act on irrationally which led to an unfounded insult ''fag''. Today we associate this word where a man likes another man. I doubt that DassFass knew he was insinuating harshly that Scrappy could be into other men or not. It was more about projecting pain he was feeling on to others.

This cup was a failure. Who is to blame? DassFass? The Community? Who should take responsibility?  Personally I don't think it is DassFass fault. Many do like trick race right? But do the people that likes trick race also like to play it competitively enough to join a trick race cup?

Also the word fag isn't just associated with negativity:

DassFass registred in the summer bigRR cup, didnt play his games, and came to talk in private to me on wormnet saying "f@#! this cup".
I didnt force him to registred, didnt even force him to play when he was in, but showing some respect would have been kewl.

So yea when he launched this joke cup with crazy and ironical pricepool, I put myself on the other side and start beeing salty on him.

You can dislike someone and still stay respectfull.

Well, it was fun to see him cry and become mad for a trash cup...

After that "fag" word I went to insult him in private, guess he deserved it for beeing a b***
