Description:
BECOME A PART OF THE WORMS HISTORY!

Start and try your best at the first Realistic Cup!

The scheme itself allows any number of worms, but I officially set a rule for the Cup, that we play with 8 worms per team. 1 team of worms per player.

We'll play on randomly generated islands (non-cave) maps. Map can be generated few times before the match starts: each player can say up to 2 times veto against a generated map. The match starts when both player don't veto against a map.

Game format: Best of 3 rounds - before finals. Best of 5 rounds for the final and third place.

Description of the scheme:
Spoiler! View
Quote
Realistic damage, stronger realistic gravity and friction, mines 0 sec, random order of move, worm can keep moving after self-damage, realistically limited ammo and arsenal of weapons, many crates have Bazooka and Minigun, infinite Rope but only 1 shot (you can aim with rope below the horizon). Airstrike and Napalm Strike are the most powerful weapons. Think about Magic Bullet as if it was Missile with Artificial Intelligence. :)

More details:
No rules;
Any maps;
Any number of worms (it's better with many worms);
Loss of control doesn't end turn;
Worm has 51 hp;
The only weapons which can't kill healthy worm are: Blowtorch (12 damage first contact), Bow (2 x 22 dmg) , and Mine (standard damage);
Petrol decay is few times slower;
Realistic damage means for example that perfect shot with all Pistol's bullets deals 60 damage, and Bazooka - 100;
Only weapons and HP crates are falling, should be 2 per move, up to 9 on map, weapons are more probable;
HP crates give +12;
Worms are placed randomly;
14 seconds of Hot Seat;
27 seconds for move;
After using a weapon you have 8 seconds before your turn ends (you still have 8 sec to move even if you haven't used weapon);
Fall damage is triggered by explosions too.

Ok, so now we have group phase.
But I have no idea what to do with it now...
I can't see any instructions.

You have to set a deadline for people to play their group phase games.

If people play enough games then two people per group get into knockouts phase.

If they don't play you ban them forever must remind them to do so, and if they don't show any effort, you proceed into knockouts phase whoever tried to get the games done (incase you don't have enough players to fill the knockout phase).

would 30.IX be a good deadline for this?

I have no experience as a Cup moderator, so I don't know the ideal time. I think the time cannot be too short and at the same time too long people may give up playing. So, maybe the deadline you proposed is ok, but I would add one more week maybe, because I and others may not have much free time or good time zones to play. But, I'll be fine with your decision.
I doubt you see this link moving below (you will have to zoom in. If you click at it, you will have maden the impossible):

Yeah, I think 2 weeks could be a good deadline. October 5th or a few days more.

Maybe change any number of worms to 8 worms per team?
And maybe add "Island maps or open PNG maps".

Ah nvm, you did. :)

Also, is this best of 1 or 3?

Medals look okay to me.
Also maybe hide scheme description in [spoiler] tag, so people won't get confused. :)

I'm still analyzing this scheme, but one thing I notice with my games with SIBASA is that it makes you think, once you have instant mines, single shot ropes and weird gravity. I like that.

EDIT: I deleted the games because we played on a cave in one game. So we will play again the last game. The scheme itself can be played in any map, but the cup rules says the maps need to be islands. My bad, sorry for that. Please, play on islands! Don't make the same mistake of mine again.
