This is a quote directly from the racing schemes in this cup:

--- Quote ---The philosophy to this scheme is that speed, consistency and technique is key to victory, as opposed to getting a huge advantage because your opponent fell and is punished severely.

Even with these settings you can still fail miserably and lose a lot of time, which means those who can recover quickly and keep roping while maintaining full speed will have a higher chance of winning.

This means it's a more balanced match for those with the fastest reflexes and hand to eye coordination, as opposed to those who can easily take advantage of an opponents mistake by roping more carefully.

aliases are so cute

I don't know, but will not allow brand new accounts to join this event.

Unfortunately there is not an option for "time registered" on the Cup page.

This Cup is open to players of all skill, but not accounts that are brand new and/or haven't been checked for legitimacy.

I need to inform MonkeyIsland of this.

Edit - I may have to switch these events to being a Private Cup if brand new accounts, which have not been verified or tested for legitimacy are allowed to enter Cups.

In my opinion it should be a requirement to even participate in any Cup/Tournament/Challenge that the player has actively engaged in a normal League match of some kind, so they can be verified not to be cheating & not to be an alias.

I don't have a problem with any beginner, or new player, entering the event, though we've had enough aliasing and piss taking, especially with Sir-J around lol.

I just want some kind of proof, or reason to believe they are genuine, and not wasting spots for legit players.

Just let the dude play lol who cares, this is a cup, not a league
