Description:
Dabble and Fidget Cup #1
WoSC present you with the unique scheme that requires great amount of strategy! The scheme consists mainly of the weakest available weapons, lacking even the Bazooka and the Grenade to allow unique, fresh way of having fun. Like Quickdraw, worms start out with low hp. (35hp)
Check this link to get better idea of this scheme.
http://worms2d.info/Dabble_and_Fidget

== Basic Information ==
Player Numbers:
Preferrably 8, 10, 12, or 16 [First Come, First Serve!!!]
Number of Worms for Each Player:
6 (not 4 or 5 for this cup)
Rules:
All players may do absolutely anything within the game to win and/or have fun. This means that any players attempting to tell another player that they're not allowed to do something are breaking the game's sole rule and should not be played with because they don't understand the idea of mixing skill, strategy, attention to detail, and fun.
Map:
Most random maps play well, whether island or cavern.
Sign Up Close Date:
Largely depending on situation.
Groups Pairment Round Number / Due Date:
Bo3 / (Due Date will be announced later, duration around 5, 10, or 15 days)
First Round Number / Start to End Date:
Bo5 / September 27, 2011, 22:00 GMT
Second Round Number / Start to End Date:
Bo5 / (Due Date will be announced later, duration around 5 to 10 days)
Final and Broze Match Round Number / Start to End Date:
Bo5 / Appoint a match freely with your opponent. (Duration around 5 days.)

== Cup Rules ==
- I will be on with a snooper account as WoSC-Gamehoster, so chat with this account if there's ANY PROBLEM going on with the contest. (Note that it'll be tougher if I'm busy or in game already.)
- Report to me and/or your opponent right away if you get disconnected! (long term internet disconnection may result in contest disqualification.)
- Rules are going to be very strict to make this contest go smoothly.
- For group pairment, playing game is also crucially important to advance to knockout round. Players with 0 win and number of losses are far more likely to be advanced to the knockout round than players with no game played. What I care in order: Win, Game Played, and then Loss. I will be overriding this rule ONLY under good reason.
- I WISH TO MAKE RULE TO MAKE THE CUP REAL FAIR SHOWN IN LINK BELOW, BUT IT'S KIND OF UP TO ADMINS OF THIS SITE TO ALLOW THIS OR NOT.
https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/wosc/cup-rules-%28will-probably-be-updated%29/msg86165/#msg86165

== Notes ==
- Try getting used to this scheme by downloading this scheme early and playing it.
- Sudden death is major element of this game, and all of worms health is reduced to 1 health when that happens.
- If my snooper account, WoSC-Gamehoster, happens to be on, contestant can talk to me for some practice match for this scheme before actual contest starts. (It'll be tough if I'm busy or in game already.)

Guys, we were talking with Lex just now and we came into agreement that Girders should be limited to 5, and bats limited to 2.

Heres approval:
[11:49:29] <@Lex> coste: well, feel free to set the bat count to 2 (please no lower!  i love having at least 2 bats) and girders to 5, then reupload the scheme saying i approved your changes

WKB article and scheme should be modifed soon by Lex.

Got it bro. I got enough proof already anyways: by you and the creater of this scheme, Lex himself. It's a no brainer that the scheme will be more balanced and 3D dimentional by changing these. Baseball Bat is generally somewhat of an instant easy kill in open island maps, and having too many girder may extend the game in a boring way. So, changing the scheme setting is a must.

Very importantly, I suggest people download and play the latest verison of this scheme for the cup until the scheme is actually updated with the latest one at tus website. You can get the newest version at this link.

Hehehe. Yup!
:D

I added additional Cup Rule, but it's a fair one.
- For group pairment, playing game is also crucially important to advance to knockout round. Players with 0 win and number of losses are far more likely to be advanced to the knockout round than players with no game played. What I care in order: Win, Game Played, and then Loss. I will be overriding this rule ONLY under good reason.

I plan on starting this cup once 12 players are reached, but I may start with 10 ppl as a secondary option.

WE REACHED THIS NUMBER, SO THE CUP WILL OFFICIALLY START!!!
GL HF!!! Group Pair match up deadline will be September 11, 2011 22:00 GMT because we only have 3 player in each group.

I WISH TO MAKE RULE TO MAKE THE CUP REAL FAIR SHOWN IN LINK BELOW, BUT IT'S KIND OF UP TO ADMINS OF THIS SITE TO ALLOW THIS OR NOT.

Excellent scheme ... congrats, but a detail you said you wanted to reduce the luck factor as much ... but with the boxes of energy the luck factor is high because they can fall randomly. by chance (luck) to promote a player ...

But the scheme is very good!

Good point NeoX, but I do believe health crate makes the scheme more 3d dimentional because the crate can be used in many different creative ways. Anywayz Lex made this scheme, and I believe this scheme deserves much more attention. That's why I made Cup for this. (of course 2 hf as well) Anyways we need to fight each other soon enough. Tell me your schedule you can be on at Neo.

[Sorry for the late announcement]

Group 1, please finish up the game as number of others are waiting for the knockout if you guys haven't played yet. I will extend the deadline only by little, so please finish up the game quickly. Lacoste should have played game by now as he have already mentioned his free times.

Group 3 can take this as advantage to play more games against each other.
