Finished

Description:

How it works:
1. Each game is 5 rounds. Except the final, that one is 7 rounds.
2. Play the rounds like normal TTRR; on 5 different maps.
3. Each player gets 4 (!) worms.
4. After each round you write down the difference in times. At the end of the 5 rounds you count all the time differences together and decide who is the winner.
5. The match is instantly stopped when one of the players loses by 7 seconds or more (that includes plopping all worms). This player has lost the game, no matter what the score was up to that point.
6. Once finished, the winner reports the game as 1:0 (and not 3:2 or 5:0 or whatever).

Example:
1st round: player A scores 82; B scores 80. (A gets +2 secs)
2nd round: player A scores 70; B scores 73 (B gets +3) (total score = +1 sec for B)
3rd round: A scores 64; B scores 65 (B gets +1) (total score = +2 sec for B) (as in, player B is 2 seconds behind)
4th round: A scores 93; B scores 86 (A gets +7 secs) => round is lost by 7 seconds by player A. Player A is terminated cos 7-sec rule. 5th round is cancelled.
Winner of the match: player B.

More rules:
= Play a 6th round if the score is still equal after the first 5.
= Please mention in your report what the score was (in each round). (in the comments)
= Equal points in group stage = count seconds to see who goes through.
= Maps must be approved by both players.

Have fun  :)

I hope this is not too confusing. I know most of you RR'ers have some experience, so it shouldn't be too much of a prob. Questions in comments  ;)

dibz vs Dulek

1st round: tied twice, then dibz +2
2nd round: Dulek +1 (total score +1 dibz)
3rd round: dibz +4 (total score +5 dibz)
4th round: dibz +1 (total score +6 dibz)

I hope we played this properly despite the ties, HHC.

no dulek, totally wrong  ;D

2 mistakes:
1) even though you play 5 rounds, it's not bo5. You do not win a match by winning 3 rounds. If no player is knocked out by the 7 sec rule (or plop) then you count the total of seconds difference of all games combined.

2) draw counts as a normal round. You just write down 0 sec time difference.

So in reality.
Your game is:
1st round: 0 sec.
2nd round: 0 sec.
3rd round: dibz +2 sec
4th round: dulek +1 sec (score atm: dibz +1 sec)
5th round: dibz +4 sec (for a total score of dibz +5 sec)

And that's the result. Dulek wins by 5 seconds over 5 rounds.

Hope I cleared things up.

edit: a draw that has to be replayed only happens when both players plop all their worms.

Right, that's exactly the thing I've been discussing with dibz in the lobby but in the end we decided to count ties as an unsettled round. Your bo5 thing in description is unclear, bo5 means you play maximally 5 games (which is up to 3 wins) so I suggest you change it and write that each match considers 5 games on different maps where afterwards you sum all the time differences if no lose by plopping all worms or exceeding 7s rule occurs.

So, maybe you should delete our match and I can report once again, HHC?

You are right dulek, that was unclear, I fixed the rules now to read 5 rounds instead.

No need to re-report is there? All the replays are there and the score is still 1:0  :)

yep, gg's.

4th round killed me - was too focussed on trying to nail a perfect run to stay in the game going into the last round.

was +7 altogether indeed!

+7 was in the last round or was the last round +1 for a total of +7 over the entire game?

last round was +1 for a +7 total

doesn't matter because his 4th round time was excellent and mine not!
