Selection criteria I used:
Top 50 in Classic.
Top 20 in TRL TTRR.
Semi finals in cups.
Winners of TTRR tournaments.
Winners of tourneys in last 3 olympics.

edit: Darkone, could you start these two at the same time? Wouldnt be a prob IMO cause the players will be divided.

Is that ok if I'm able to play only at weekends? I don't want you to wait for me too long, so asking before sign.

Deadline for groups is 2 weeks, for k/o 1 week. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether thats enough to get all your games done  ::)
It would certainly be a good idea then if you arranged time with your opponents, other than that I see no prob with it.

yeh, but sometimes there are players who can play only at week days, not weekends, that would be problem then. I don't wanna destroy the cup, as I personally don't like people who sign and then avoid/don't have time to play the games.

Most can play in the weekends though... or only in the weekends. If any such situation arise we can try to work something out, maybe even by switching players to a different opponent/group.

If you put effort into getting your games done (effort that the cup moderator can see), then I don't think he will kick you out.

I will catch impo and sbaff next Saturday, I often see them online, so I don't think it's any problem.

btw HHC, haven't you thought about creating 'ttrr league'. But I don't mean classic league, but more something like we get in football. There would be leagues.
At first you wait for people to sign up, and then you create groups - for example each group about 8 people. Each group is better or worse league. Number of groups depends on how many players would sign up. Rules are simple - you have to play against each player from your group - so you get 7 matches to play (if 8 players in), it would take hm, month? Dunno, haven't been thinking about.
For example 2 best players from each group go up to the better league, and 2 worst go down. 3rd can play play-offs or smth like that. There would be created last group for newcomers who want to sign up, of the beginning of each season. Inactive players would be kicked out and banned to keep league active.
I think it would be cool, every player, even not strong would have an aim (getting in better league) and they would improve their skills by that. What do you think?
(sorry I'm spamming this topic, but I'm too busy to handle it by myself, just giving idea, and hope that someone can make it)
