Finished

Description:
It's time for another timetrial cup, but with a special twist! Where my previous TT cup had low gravity, this one has powered down ropes.
I got mostly positive remarks about the RRkit tourney I hosted with this format and I hope this cup will be no different.
Start with 3 worms and the best time wins :)

Some remarks about activity: if you're not active in finding your opponents, don't bother signing up.
This cup will have deadlines and I'm going to keep them. If you can't play because of vacation/sickness/family matters, please let me know. I'm not unreasonable and will make exceptions regarding the deadline for this sort of thing :)

The group phase will have bo3 games and you'll have 3 weeks to finish.

The knockout phase will have bo5 games (including the finals) and you'll have 2 weeks to finish each round.

What to do if a group is not active? You need to have played at least 2 games to qualify for the next round and you need to have won 50% or more.
If there are 2 people with the same amount of wins tying for second place, the person with most games played will advance.

If you are trying to find your opponent (which includes arranging the game in the cup thread) and your opponents are inactive, then I will make an exception to that rule.
"I can't find my opponent" is NOT good enough.

If both players are inactive in the knockouts, then neither player goes through to the next round.

And finally, if there's not enough activity, I'll close the cup before it finishes, but I think 3 weeks for the group phase and 2 weeks for one game after that is more than enough :)

[December 20, 2010, 06:29 PM] Netherlands DarkOne: Alright, it's a tie between the 3 of you for group winner, so I'm going to have to ask you 3 to play again :o
bo3 games again. If it's a tie again, the amount of rounds won/lost will count as a tie breaker.
If this is also a tie, then we're gonna have to arrange for all 3 of you to play in one game.

Of course, if you guys want to play in one game straight away, that's fine with me too!

Pretty funny scheme, especially when long water parts. :D
Watashi wa, jinmei ni iku sa reru ka o kakunin surunoni nagai jikan o matteita.
Shikashi, tada nariyuki o mimamoru.
Jikan dake to iudarou gen'in to naru.

May the force be with you.

Alright, there's been no effort I can see from oldsock, MAgiC or ANO, so they're gonna be replaced.

Current activity rate for each player (only finished rounds are counted):
ANO: 25% (1 out of 4 games)
MagiC: 67% (6 out of 9 games)
oldsock: 54% (13 out of 24 games)

This means ANO will be replaced by the first player asking for a spot, oldsock will be replaced by the second player and MagiC will be replaced by the third player.

If they actually manage to play a game before they are replaced, then they're safe.
