On my "last turn" in the second game, I used a shotgun instead of a grenade - it was a mistake, but I did not deal any damage and it did not affect the game much, but by the harsh rules, I lost instantly.

Sibi, it is simple, if you want to gain weaponretreat time cuz your turntime is about to end, and you're going with the Grenade worm, throw a grenade and there you go. ;) It's not hard. And don't shoot with shotgun, cuz its cow as it is stated in the cup, it's quite simple. And remember your weapons. Even if you forget, press "delete" button 3 times, and the nametag of the worm will reappear. These are all written in the cup description. The rules speak for themselves, if there was a solution in WA that we could disable every weapon and that in a Grenade worm's inventory there is only grenade and nothing else, we would do it. But there is no option sadly, so we maintain these basic rules.

Sibasa, I think that Lupastic has explained very well how the rules of our cup work this time. Since in the past we were forgiving and, in spite of that, we came across a lot of other cases, this time we decided that cowing IN ANY CASE is forbidden. Moreover an accidental shot with a wrong weapon could always after all have some consequences. What if someone drops a mine instead of, for example, an air strike? That mine could affect the gameplay. This rule is also meant to discourage, for example, a player who chooses to cow and maybe lose a turn for his own sake.

Why are you both explaining the game / cup rules to SIBASA? He pretty much knows how to read, and he acknowledged his mistake. All he said was that your rules are harsh, and it's exactly because he has read them. Are they harsh? I think so too, yes, pretty much. You leave no place for mistakes, intended or not. Didn't this situation already happen in another match?

Whatever prompted the need for these strict rules, I wonder if these 2 cases are too much work for both of you to analyze. Of course there will be people to abuse the rules, but that's where -I believe- mods should come in and make a harsh decision. In the end, it's your choice, and people do join your cup knowing so. But then, on top of deciding you both won't do that work, you go like this:
