Description:
Flag of the Commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania (1569-1795). The flag is an alternative version of the banner of Sigismund III Vasa (1566-1632). It features the shield of the commonwealth (a red shield divided into four) and on top of it the shield of the swedish Vasa-dynasty. These shields are surrounded by a chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
