Description:
# DESCRIPTION #

The package consists of six original Team17 soundbanks made of various phrases from the following German dialects: Bayrisch (BAYRISCH), Bundeswehr (MILITARY), Hessisch (HESSISCH), Rheinländisch (RHEINLND), Sächsisch (SCHSISCH) and Ultrakorregt (ALDISH). All of these soundbanks can be found in the German version of Worms Armageddon for PSX. Moreover, they can be also found in higher quality in the European version of Worms Armageddon for Dreamcast (the exact source of these ripped soundbanks). What's pretty obvious is the fact that the soundbanks are meant to represent miscellaneous dialects of some local areas in Germany that you could hear there.

# INSTALLATION #

It's very simple - just copy "Worms Armageddon" folder to the one in "Program Files" directory or the other one where you have your game installed and voila. Make sure you've clicked on the "Copy and Replace" button while copying it.

Ripped and prepared as ready-to-use speechbanks by PeCeT_full (PeCeTfull on WormNET)

Special thanks to Dani5ooo for pointing out and sharing the original file of "Bundeswehr" from the Dreamcast version with me

That could have probably happened after converting them from the raw Yamaha 4-bit ADPCM format to a casual 32-bit PCM one (however, the processed voice files in the pack are in 16-bit) – the Yamaha format I had just guessed (actually, I had found it out myself but I'm still unsure about it) is a popular WAVE convertion method used for many recognisable games released for SEGA Dreamcast but still, the input format in my personal point of view might not be a 100% accurate choice. Furthermore, waveforms had become totally crooked so I had to normalise them manually (didn't know any other or more rational method).

Danke schön! That's very appreciated. :)

I've just updated the pack with the missing soundbank, which was obviously "Bundeswehr". Enjoy!

Viel Spass!
