Popeye is a very famous and popular cartoon character throughout the world that was first introduced in the comic strip called "Thimble Theatre" in 1929. This fictional pipe-smoking sailor was created by Elzie Crisler Segar. In the main story, Popeye's objective is to go on a date with his girlfriend Olive Oyl and thus, have a great day with her but meanwhile, he has to face up with foes that are about to ruin it all. One of them is his wicked rival Brutus (originally Bluto) who's constantly trying to prevent him from doing that, however in most cases ending up being defeated by Popeye. Thanks to spinach, our brave sailor can gain untold amount of strength for a moment and solve practically all of his problems easily and quickly.

This package also includes a special fanfare that's basically the ending theme of the show.

All the lines in the speechbank along with the fanfare are taken only from the episodes originally aired from 1960 to 1962. The main production company of the series was King Features Syndicate. More information regarding it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_the_Sailor_%281960s_TV_series%29

Lyrics of "I'm Popeye The Sailor Man" theme song (written by Samuel "Sammy" Lerner):

I'm Popeye the Sailor Man,
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man.
I'm strong to the finich
Cause I eats me spinach.
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man.

I'm one tough Gazookus
Which hates all Palookas
Wot ain't on the up and square.
I biffs 'em and buffs 'em
And always out roughs 'em
But none of 'em gets nowhere.

If anyone dares to risk my "Fisk",
It's "Boff" an' it's "Wham" un'erstan'?
So keep "Good Be-hav-or"
That's your one life saver
With Popeye the Sailor Man.

I'm Popeye the Sailor Man,
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man.
I'm strong to the finich
Cause I eats me spinach.
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man.
