maps

am i the only one whos not only trying to avoid bridges but lock ins aswell? saw many ppl using maps with locked in worms for cups etc. ofc its a bigger challenge with closed areas, still...
i confess it takes some more time between rounds to edit random maps by change objects/theme, still i usually think its worth it.
ok, no locks makes maps easier but it avoids some more bad luck placement, too.
i would even consider making it rule for maps same as no girders...

1 point would be "skilled enough you can win fast even if locked in" -
thing is if you play bo5 and got 3 times bl placement with locked worms its big chance you cant even negitate locked placement by starting first 2 of the rounds. dunno...

any thoughts?

Well, I haven't even thought of enforcing that as a rule; on the other hand though, it is unclear to see beforehand if some areas are walkable or not, but I guess ambiguity is enough of a reason for enlarging just in case.

Just don't make a rule out of it, just like complex maps are recomened for elite but it isn't rule.

Well, true; though on the other hand, I'd say blocked locations are a problem, unlike the lack of complexity of an Elite map (controlling my words in case REM is watching us).
