It's time to get Showcase back on the road again!
After amazingly high quality submissions, Cueshark took the gold last time, but by no means was it easy! So far, Showcase has had a new winner every time around. Will it be you this time?

For those not familiar with Showcase, it's basically a movie tournament; people send in replays of their finest moments. Those are then put in a movie with the music of your choice and then it's up to the community at large to rate your submission :)

If you want to compete, here's what you need to do:

Apparently, something in the previous showcase told us this disclaimer is necessary: you're not allowed to use any third party program for your replays (except rubberworm). If you are caught trying to cheat, you run the risk of the other kids pointing and laughing at you!

For this edition, we have 6 7 8 10 13 15 17 21 24 26 31 33 signups :)

Wahoo!  Showcase 4!

Go for it guys. 

Get yourself a folder called "showcase" and put all your cool moves in it.  In a few months time you should hopefully have some good stuff for the movie.

Let's make Showcase 4 even more epic than the last!

Yeah err, I meant of course how are you supposed to get all the songs if not by illegal downloading? :P
And then I was thinking well, he must have a very good source for all the music he needs to get.

Btw: Site is really laggy atm, takes 1 Minute to refresh anything. :(

I'd rather watch all replays in same speed, it's also easier to judge them if they r all in same speed. just my opinion.

There are actually 10 now :) Cueshark didn't want me to spoil the line up last time but only told me after I had already spoiled it :o So I'm keeping it a secret for now :)

And to avoid having to change your replays following submission (mentioning no names - Wolfgang!), you should sign up but hold off from sending your replays until the very last minute!

Feel free to send your music though.

It has been a while since the last update, but a little fishy (okay, a shark of some sort) told me that we now have a deadline! March 8th :)
We currently have 21 submissions, so there's a tough competition already 8)

Perhaps for Showcase 5 :)

Cue said he's got all the submissions in a row, has commentary and all that, but now all that needs to be done is the boring edits :o That can take a while, cause we tend to get distracted when we have to do tedious stuff :)

It's probably best not to give an estimate of when showcase will be ready, but the last I heard from him, he was at about 75% done.

Oh man, that was awesome Cue! Thanks for all those months of hard work, this is a kickass Christmas present for WA. You put a hell of a lot of effort into it, I liked all those slowdowns, and the batman moment was pretty radical. So many little touches that made me laugh, like the 'ow' sound effect that I think was taken from that one whack-a-gator game. And the worm audience, priceless, I forget, did OoO work on that, or was it you?

As far as the moves, there wasn't a single person I wasn't impressed with, people really dug deep and pulled out their wormiest skills for this one. A bit hard for me to determine what my favorite moments were, there were so many. I'll have to watch it again to even have an inkling as to who I'll vote for.

I made the audience and the worms are all in little groups which can move independently.  It's a little buggy but does the job :P

Auto drew the animations for the worms and did the stage art.

A team effort :)

fiance??? great news!! i remember having talked with you, and how upset you were with your old gf, the wicked bitch of the west...  then i remember couple months later we had another discussion, and you said you met a girl? im guessing she is the same one?? glad to see everything working out for you, fiance is a big step!! but, she seems cool, i did not even notice it was a remix with  a womans voice until you mentioned it... nice to see you guys having common interest in music, and she at least pretends to enjoy wormy things!! sounds like a keeper to me..

my only hope is when you get married, you dont leave worms community, because without you worms would  be lacking many extras that you bring every year!! thanks for your work! and send Mrs. Shark a hello ;D

ps: pejas turns were rly cool... i think it was uzurpter who had a rly nice cow.. and im thinking Dennis has the best showcase... ill have to watch again tho to be sure.

I wanted to make my section a parody of the House MD intro, but it was cut because it would have been too distracting :( Still very happy with how my bit turned out though :) coste clearly had a better theming idea, though!

What/where is the hidden mention? Even at the end credits with the songs, it says batman. For a moment I thought we have a wormer named batman.

Just learned about it finally being released, great job!

Unfortunately, the first turn in my entry looks really embarrassing :D I asked to include the shot across the whole mine madness map, not this "epic" one ;D :( Check out the replay in attachment, it's kinda cool :)

Oh well, about to watch the whole thing now :)

Whoa dude, that's insanely close scoring, practically a tie. Thanks for the votes y'all, I thought pretty much everyone did an excellent job, we had a lot of impressive feats all around, and I'm surprised I won. Some people clearly should've been higher than they were, Dub was a 5 in my book, and it's important not to take it too seriously since it's very subjective. But most importantly, thanks to Cue for putting so much time and effort into making the video/contest, I believe you made this the best one yet.
