Title: Map: Invading Troy in challenge #10
Post by: DarkOne on June 18, 2010, 07:10 PM
Replays were rated on a scale of 1-10 :)

Basically, you got more points if you had few parts where you had to make (almost) pixel perfect jumps/shots (and were given only one chance to do so) and you get more points if you had parts where you had do a very hard move with the bungee or anything else that involves timing and ability to use the weapon. You'd get more points if you had more weapons unused in your effort to get to the end (excluding kamikaze, of course!)
I didn't factor in time. Also, if your solution consists of 2 seperate replays, you'll lose some points, though marginally :)

Personally, I don't think anything can top Mablak's replay, but just in case someone manages to do just that, I've left it at 9.5

I've asked MI to judge my own replay, since there's just no way I can judge my own replay objectively

That replay was done on an older version of the map. The same applies to NC, but his worm didn't have 2 HP and almost no way to dodge a mine impact.

This one is done on new map. Same as Abnaxus, 2 parts.

good stuff, lacoste :) Would've been 9.5 if it had been done in one replay!
My replay is going to be judged by other people, since I'm obviously not objective ;)

I want to state that DarkOne's replay was judged by other moderators, not by himself.

His solution is ideal because he is the map author, so it's actually not a solution, because the map was created after moves. But it's awesome he did it without fails :)
