Cups are not played in one session. It may take a few days before the cup starts. Then the moderator sets a deadline for group games and you need to schedule a date and a time with your opponents.

Good on ya, Tomt! For organising something AND for giving default intermediate some playtime; the inclusion of crates (and dud mines) gives a different challenge with its own merits. I might join if you need players. I might also contribute a few bucks to the prize pot :)

I think it would be better to stick to the original idea of cave only. Now the 3rd, decisive round is on island so only one of the players gets to play on island where 1st turn advantage is slightly bigger (as far as I remember the stats provided by Dario years ago).

I host this cup in the hopes of breathing some life into a dying community. To create some hype and activity on WA and TUS.
It is also an attempt at bringing different communities and players together. Which atleast to a small degree seems to be working!
So allowing people to join and watch eachother's games only seems reasonable in my mind.
I don't know if all the choices I've made were necessarily the best possible choices - but I'm trying my best.

Thank you. Yes, I have noticed that some players hate to lose. It makes me feel the game was meaningless. My mommy says people who participate and show positive attitude are the true winners. I must agree. Without them, there would not even have been a tournament.
My brain shut down during round two once the darksiding began, and I could not concentrate properly from there and eventually gave up in the last round. I have seen this happening to others, especially during long matches. My lesson must be to be more prepared and patient and practice more. All the games I won were on simpler maps with nearly only lightsiding, and some luck. Considering that my goal was to win at least one game during the tournament, I can not complain.
I agree about Korydex being good. I had not even heard of him. Perhaps if I practice more and learn some of those darksiding skills and endurance that he portrayed, I will be able to kill more than one of his worms in each round.

You were pretty good and I even remember you in WO. I was about to surrender in round 2 but then you didn't want to finish me quickly, I decided to wait for the hell of it and somehow I even won it.
