when does registration end?

and do u want to play those retarded schemes (for example shopper with no baz and no AFR / roper with many severe prohibitions)? or standard shemes

when does registration end?
Registration will end when there are enough people, or after about two weeks maximum ( 17 - 20 April )

It is better to use schemes and adhere to the rules that are indicated in the links below:
- WxW (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-8/)
- Big RR / Tower (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-154/) ( or Big Zar RR (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-2764/) )
- ShopperCWC (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-488/)
- Roper (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3/) ( or ZaR (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1634/) )
If desired and with the consent of both players, it is possible to agree on a minor change in the rules.(e.g. using AFR in a shopper)

thanks, yes i am talking about these particular schemes. i hope everyone will accept to play with standard options

@SIBASA
Which scheme takes priority where zar is involved? I'd hope the originals take priority.

ZaR is more difficult, so original circuits will take priority.

Good joke! :D
Good to know the original schemes will take priority though!

Rules here arent written down clear enough, i think we need someone with good English to revise them.
-
What exactly is not clear to you about the rules?
If we consider the group stage: You and your opponent agree on two different schemes and play them until 1 win each game (in case of a 1-1 score, choose the third scheme)
The rules for each scheme are indicated by the links.

15 seconds with parachute? No way! ZaR is harder for sure, so my pick is obvious.
-
start in a week. have time to sign up

Since when shopper is a rope scheme?

Since when shopper is a rope scheme?
All the way back in early 2000s.
Without the utilization of the ninja rope to progress across a normal to big sized shopper map, it would not be a rope based scheme at all. So let's examine a little to WHY this is the case Mr Korydex. I would wager that over 90% of shopper games, players must utilize rope to advance in 30 seconds, rather than to use battle race techniques to traverse the terrain and its obstacles. Without the ninja rope, Shopper as we know it, would be slow paced scheme, similar to Team17.
So why not have unlimited supply of ninja rope in Team17 then? Simple: it is not designed to be fast paced. The map, and the random terrain and its obstacles does not allow for accelerated movement with rope. The rope is used sparingly, for tactical purposes only.
But in Shopper, you are always on the move by using the ninja rope. You are allowed to knock, and rearrange your worm and enemy worm with rope. In Team17 scheme it is prohibited to knock.
So Yes. Mr Korydex. Shopper is a rope based scheme.

I think it's a mix of rope and ground schemes. Usually the winner in shopper is who can better use his weapons and plop enemy worms and that's ground schemes skill. It only becomes more of a rope game on maps like this (https://www.tus-wa.com/maps/map-15810/) and this (https://www.wmdb.org/610), which arent popular

If someone is inactive, replace that person with me. :)

That's a good point right there. But, those example maps that you provided, may not be so popular, because those are maps that looks like they require fair amount of rope speed & maneuvering. At least that's what I think. Shopper has always been in my opinion an entry level rope based scheme. Roper would be the next level because it requires a lot of rope dexterity, and that's basically it for roper. But shopper may be more tactical as one may not think, it does require a lot of land skills, particularly in weapon handling. So maybe Shopper is a hybrid of both land and rope?

Set deadlines until May 15
-
A controversial situation in 1 group - all players have 1 victory and 1 defeat.
In all the games, the players used all the schemes, except for the roper (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3/), so I suggest you play one more game with each other, but only the Roper (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3/) .
bo3 format

Nobody has shown any activity in this Cup for over 2 months, though i've seen the remaining players around within the past few months.
Aladdin, Senator, Micro and blitzed - I will send you all a PM to make you aware this Cup is currently still active.
If no one responds within 2 weeks or makes any effort to play their games, the last active players making an effort will be progressed to the medals then we can finish this Cup.
-
I talked with all the participants and informed them about the need to play their games, everyone is ready to do this and are active, but there was no progress for a long time. As for the Aladdn and Senator couple, it's hard to say who to promote, because they are both active and I often see them in AG. At the expense of a pair of blitzed and micro - I decide to promote the blitzed, since micro is less active (I talked with micro in discord, he said that he would try to finish the cup games in two weeks, but this was said a month ago)
-
Aladdin and I talked about this match a few times on snooper but we were never both ready to play. I'll try to catch him.
-
Hi, you can replace me I'm not active at all
-
@Senator & blitzed.
So, I see blitzed has reported against Senator, though they have only played 1 game out of 2.
-* Groups stage: up to 2 games won in Bo1 format
-* Knockouts stage: up to 3 games won in Bo1 format
-* Top 3: up to 2 games won in Bo3 format
So 2 games win in Bo3 format would mean you need to play WxW, Big RR/Tower(Or Big Zar RR) or ShopperCWC.
Is that correct, you have only played Roper so far?
-
Correct I think we playing my pick which will probably be big rr later tonight
-
I think I messed up the report...?
-
Excellent, i've already setup the stream, so when you guys are ready just PM me and i'll hop on I have no other plans tonight.
-
I won roper 2-1 which i reported.. as 1 game .. then reported big rr as 2-0 but just one win.. guess I win sorry for confusing reports :S
-
Congratulations to blitzed winning the Cup!
Very nice format for a Cup SIBASA, I like it!
Hopefully we can do another Cup with mixed roping schemes soon!
