I participated a little bit on the history of this scheme (I helped to fix a RubberWorm issue with the file), and I played many games (of different schemes) with the author of this scheme, so I'm in. It is not one of my favorites, but I like the map designs of this scheme and I'm curious to see this cup happening.

instead of 4 worms, wouldn't it be a better idea to play this with 6 or 8 worms per player? 4 worms is good for casual shopper but this is something completely different.. yet still a Shopper variant

so I just tested this scheme a bit. superweapons are on, I got a girder pack from the crate oO xD and girders can't be destroyed.. maybe you should have looked into the scheme first Viktori? it's not really suitable for shopper I guess :D also utilitycrates are on with 2x damage and double turntime. silly stuff like that

Yes, these are things I remember dealing while playing Tube Trap. However, even for hosting buddy the scheme was not altered... So maybe it's not a requirement for this cup, even though I agree that would be better to make a variation for this cup.

This part of the "strategies" section on the wiki article is funny:

Another good strategy is to use girder packs. A girder starter pack can block off enemy worms completely. If they haven't gotten any escape weapons from a crate shower, they will be trapped. Since the terrain is indestructible, they won't be able to get out of the girders. This is useful for creating deathtraps and blocking off worms. Simply trapping the last few worms is a good strategy.

It's sad to skip turns because there's a girder blocking your way, but that's part of the craziness of this scheme lol.

Afterall, each tube has to have a trap. So that after getting stuck on a tube, you will die due to sudden death and indian nuclear test.

Afterall, each tube has to have a trap. So that after getting stuck on a tube, you will die due to sudden death and indian nuclear test.

Going out from a tube is possible. It depends on the time of course... if you have the time to pick the worm down the tube before SD or indian nuclear test  then it's great, otherwise yes, you are doomed

btw yes, rattling with your rope you can escape the tubes easily, it just eats away a lot of your turntime :d

no one mentioned this yet, so I'll say that once SD is triggered, sometimes a crate will not spawn at the start of the turn. so I guess that's no CBA rule for you in that turn :D
