Wtf Kinu, you said Max scheme would be next. Nonentity already would've win this Big RR shit.
-
Can we test the new scheme/rules that will be released soon?
- no banana
- if you finish on the same turn, the remaining time on the clock decides

I don't like this idea, we need something better, this is worse than the current scheme.
There are too many gain/lose sections in Big RR, it's entirely possible to get lucky and end your turn with a fall and shed 5+ seconds off your time, it's entirely possible to end your turn on a climb as well, and gain 5+ seconds.
If 2 guys are roping insanely good, and one just happens to get lucky position over the other, and wins because of this, it's bullsh*t, and you cannot allow it, it's the reason the tie turn was there originally.
The better idea is incase of draw, just rope 1 turn back from finish, whoever gets furthest with that 1 turn wins.
You don't want milleseconds in TTRR because you guys "likes draws" and "enjoy rematches" and it gives a sense of competition...
But you want to take away the same kinda thing in Big RR.
Why change your way of moral/logical thinking from scheme to scheme?

Sorry, won't join this. Thank you for ruining my weekend....

Which one is worse, losing by 1 second or winning by 20 seconds and then losing in one turn tie-break by 1 inch?
Currently it's entirely possible to get lucky and end your turn with a fall at the last second and reach the finish one turn before the opponent.
Milliseconds wouldn't count in Big RR either :P (I support counting milliseconds in TTRR)

First in, first out ;D

tournament starts in 20 minutes, incase of draw, just rope 1 turn back from finish, whoever gets furthest with that 1 turn wins.

So.. If you end game 5-10 seconds before opponent - it's more logical to take 1 more turn back and get everything decided in the matter of few pixels or someone's fail!?
I just lost a game cause of this "logical new invented rule", didn't like it one bit. :)
And I'm sure nobody else would.

Rule is stupid. Makes no sense, the game defined in 1 last turn? :-X
-
Both ways have their ups and downs, just wait till 4.0, and we can rope in real time, then we will have no ties :D
-
this roping back idea was already vetted in my thread about several various league rules. it was determined unfit as a rule because some ending areas of maps do not allow you to rope back. its not a good substitute for the time remaining rule.
-
Yeah and the obvious solution is just teleport back to start and do another turn, but seems too much effort lol.
-
5-10 second rule: If player B can't reach finish within 20-25 seconds more or less, he/she loses.
So even if player B reaches finish at 30s, it will be counted as defeat, unless if it is below 25-20s.
