Hmm, maybe to make 'Classic Cups' and 'Free Cups'...?
Ye, I'll put out Mole Shopper from here, and you make another poll 'which scheme for first Free Cup'.. put bungee, mole, plop war, golf.. dunno, smth.. ;)

Humm.. Does Cup needs standings at all? I thought u just play a Cup, winners get titles and medals, and that's it.. ???
I ain't sure in these things, that's why I ask for some help here...

Ye , I guess theres no need for it, but still we could have it divided... Like it's more significant if u are Classic Cup winner than if u are Free Cup winner... Cause in 'Free Cup' u have some luck-based schemes like Mine Madness or Plop War... Anyone could win those, but not any1 could win 'Classic Cup' scheme.. ;P
But anyway, it's not important at all I guess...

My view, WHY HAVE DIFFERENT CATEGORY CUPS (Sorry I left the caps lock key on the on mode for a reason)
I don't feel doing that will really work. Mixing it with league rankings won't do the world any favors either.
My view, no categories.

It's really not big deal, two different categories wouldn't affect anything. I thought they should be divided only cause of scheme difference.. Kinda not same thing if u won Mine Madness Cup or Elite Cup... But wth, I guess it doesn't matter at all..
Needed to separate them for the polls at least...

How about that: every cup lasts for a month, at the end of the month we have a winner. Every month will have 2 cups, one classic scheme, one rare scheme

one month is a bit too short if you take a look at how things were going on tut site. rather make it 2 months. + why not do multiple cups at the same time? 4 maximum i d say.

4 in the same time is too much , remember inactivity on tut before , if it's rare more people play and more activity , start with 2 cups i think :)

Most ppl wont play in all 4 cups tho, they rather pick the cup they like most :) Inactivity was a problem which came later, i remember the 1st couple of cups were v active. And there were 3 or more running at the same time werent there?

I think 1 cup is fair enough per month,otherwise people will be get bored if you will start a lot of cups in same month.I remember TuT's last days,was very inactive.And can you add some 2v2 cups for next poll MonkeyIsland(*)?For an example if you will go for 8 cups in a poll,you can set 4 1v1 and 4 2v2 cups maybe?

Ya, maybe better to start of with 1 cup and then see how its going. I still think the reason why tut cups got so inactive is because at the beginning it was some new thing so the ppl were enthusiastic about it and then lost their interest because it became somehow normal and ordinary...

I agree with darky on having 2 cups, 4 cups are too much, people will just take a look at them and think: "ohh too much for me to participate". And we should have 2 cups instead of only 1 because there might be some people who for example hate the scheme we would pick.

Elite have received 16 polls and it is double of the 2nd max poll.
I think we better start the elite cup.

Since I've started those polls and things, I have to tell you that I wont be here next few days much... My PC is down again (some hardware problems)... >:(
So, MI you will have to sort things and start Cups and end polls or whatever...

p.s. I think we could start 3 Cups - 1. Elite, 2. some 'rope scheme' (WxW or Roper obv.), 3. 'Free scheme' poll winner (Moley or bungee obv.)

Albino, we already hat that discussion on TUT site i remember, we got to the conclusion thats its too difficult to set up a date with 4 ppl. Hard enough to set one up for 2 players ;).
