I dont know if that would be a really good feature.. why would you like to ignore sdainub? :D

However i plan to start developing 2.2 (or 2.3?) update with some minor bug fixes and features and maybe a bigger new feature.. i am thinking about a matchmaking system for tus again.. i will look after possibilities..

So if anyone has noticed a bug so far or have some minor feature ideas or any thoughts about the matchmaker thing or AGAINST a feature request, post it ^^

So far i know about the league game searcher bug that it sometimes fails and a change request for loading old messages when opening a private chat with a user and probably adding those shortcuts requested by goom.

One more thing to think about: people trying to get help on #Help.
I want GS to notify me of people asking anything, because otherwise it's extremely difficult to notice someone asking for help unless I spend the whole day and night sitting in front of my monitor looking at GS window. Right now the only way to do that is to use Notificator and put a few keywords in it (e.g. "help", "what", "how", "host", "join" etc), but that can interfere with random talks on #AnythingGoes. Then there's a possibility of a person asking something in another language, or making a typo, or whatever, and none of these would be noticed by Notificator.
So, how about something to make GS highlight first (first two? otherwise it'd highlight "hi" way too many times..) phrase said by any person, which would only work on #Help? Perhaps a specific sub-option in Notificator could work.

Maybe consider an option to make group convos with players using both programs (great and wheat), it's pretty limited this way. Cause atleast 2 out of 5 ppl are gonna use different snooper.

Wtf-8: hm i guess the best solution would be for this to add rules to the notificator like "how((#help))" to specify the channel name for the rule. What do you think?

Sensei: i dont really know who is developing wheat snooper right now, but if he finds me, we can discuss about it. Anyway is that feature working well? I cant test it, coz Brenda refuses to update the snooper xd

Anyway one solution for this is to join #worms channel and type there "/join #myroomname".. i guess it might work :o
Edit: ah wheat doesnt have #worms.. so nevermind

Not a flawless solution, see above for a reason
there's a possibility of a person asking something in another language, or making a typo, or whatever, and none of these would be noticed by Notificator.

But if there's nothing better, it'd probably work

i guess * works for everything or even +... so "*{{#help}}" might be good (i wanted to write {{}} in prev message too, but couldn't find it on my phone xd)

I'm not sure if I want to get beeped by random flooders. Plus sometimes people in #Help do actually talk, sometimes for 10+ minutes, that might be annoying if it'd beep all these 10 minutes non-stop. And yet that's much better than nothing.

it would be a little annoying if snooper would be beeping for all ~20 minutes non-stop

Now it's up to you to decide how to do this, though there's a suggestion I made earlier:
Quote
how about something to make GS highlight first phrase said by any person, which would only work on #Help?

BTW, if you make this feature simple enough, #Help might get some more people who are willing to help, instead of just me and StepS. That's something it really needs.

Ah i see.. so what about a paramater for a notiicator rule to tell how often it should happen per user or per channel.. so i mean if you set a rule that it should beep on any message (sry but i cant write intelligent parser for messages to filter spam) in #help but only if its timeout is reached. That might work or not?

Sounds good, and the fact it wouldn't produce way too many sounds sounds even better! Hopefully there are no rakes I didn't notice. Maybe you could ask someone else so they could have a fresh view on this.

Ah btw today I had about an hour to develop the snooper, I read the last sites of this topic and I saw that 2.2 still has that strange bug that it crashes with bad connection. But I haven't seen any log file there, so can I ask someone who has that bug to reproduce it and send me the errorlog.txt in private message?
