since when do the players get to decide the punishment? ban!

oh I guess u don't rly want me to come up with a reasonable punishment, I'm just here to make a complaint about foul actions that are against the principles of competitive gaming

well maybe a punishment is needed, just enough to prevent this from happening. even a ban? few days or week even?

just funny people talk about punishments now, while they were laughing their asses off when crash helped zippos opponnents to win.  :o
he even said he is going to coach in chat, and you didnt seem bothered. im quite sure prof wouldnt have done it if you just told your veto.

lol, you could just ask prof to shut up, I think it could work xD

Again, most people don't do this, but it's incredibly disrespectful to the two players involved in the game. The hope is that Prof learned from this, but people may want further action done to prevent this from spreading (worst case scenario).

well, lets talk about the things:

1) Firstly, just learn to type some polite words. No one here is up to read ur fool insults.

2) I know "give tips for a player" is a bad thing to do. I'm sorry for do it. I gave just 3 or 4 tips for Titio, i was at the facebook, If You compare the gamechat with Titio's moves, You will see Titio made 1 or 2 moves what i said and even I didnt talk so much during the game.

3) You almost lost because u failed a lot of times. So dont blame me if You did a terrible game. You just were a lammer picking Elite vs Titio because You know he didnt know even the rules about knock in Elite. What You really wanted? A free win?

4) That complaint sounds like a dramma. But np for me. TUS Moderators knows I am a good and fair player. If They wants to give me sume punishment, i will accept because rules are rules.

That's all:

Well, what if someone give's tips by PM, you would never know. Honestly, there is no way to prevent this, except for kicking everyone except your opponent. ;)

1) I am annoyed by this because it happens quite often

2) yea not that much harm done, like I said this was just an example

3) yes I sucked, I didn't know Titio is new to elite O= I thought he would be as good as any other, so no: I didn't want a free win

4) yea, but it is not about you... I never even mentioned u in this topic, like I said this was just an example. I'm glad hearing that u acknowledge ur foul behaviour tho

Should mention that before you start a game, I always do when I'm suspicious  :)

I also tell my mates not to PM me in-game. To show I'm not getting tips.

I do the same, although someone mentioned to me that private messages aren't shown anyway.

It makes me think about mablak asking if it is allowed or not about visual aid for games.
I agree with husk but I also agree that it is kinda impossible to know if someone get help. I mean that I would be kinda really angry if I played against Noob X in bng and that he hits me everyturn because Pro Notcher spectator Y gives him all the angle/power stuff. It isn't fair.
What I'd like to see is a rule on principle to not give tip except in clanner where a spectator from a clan X could help a player from clan X since they are in the same clan.

i dont think its a big deal...

it would not bother me if somone was giving tips to whoever i was playing...

but thats just me, i guess...

i think the right thing to do is politely ask not to, and/or dont allow spectaters

A fair punishment would be to void the game, if the player who was being helped wins, if not well, I don't think in any punishment for both of them, just not let them join ur game and if they start to help neways, just quit and u can have a free win :p

You shouldn't be allowed to give any advice in a 1v1 league game... how silly... Would you do that in a chess tournament? absolutely not
Title: Re: spectators should shut the f@#! up

If I participated in the chess tournament, I would still send sms to mablak for tips xD

It doesn't even matter if 3rd person's tips had an influence on the outcome of the game or not. Giving advices on the game or receiving them without telling the advisor to shut the f@#! up are both punished in all serious competitions (when caught). I don't see why it should be any different in TUS. At the very least this game must be void.
The only possibility to prevent such crap is not allowing spectators, I guess.
