This post sounds like a joke but... oh, well. If it's forbidden to do that then I strongly apologise for my mistake and I'm kindly asking mods to give away my victory to Sensei then. I wasn't aware that such a rule exists.

if id had to play a bng game, and theres inf sg in it i personally wouldnt know of a forbidding rule either.
scheme rules just say The point of the scheme is to blow up the opponent with bazooka and grenades.
but not WHY there is inf sg and what its good for or what not.
with no experience in scheme, how would you know?

I thought it was already in the rules, I requested it a while back...
In this case, Artec deserves the win, because there isn't a rule stating you cannot use SG to attack other worms.
In any case, if you were a BnG player and knew the scheme you should know SG was introduced simply to adjust your hide, not as an attack weapon.
Even as a dedicated WA player who knows history should know the scheme is called Bazooka & Grenade(the only 2 weapons to use to attack) should be enough to know not to use other weapons, at the very least, you could ask if it's acceptable to use SG to attack before doing so. you don't teleport to other worms just so you can firepunch or torch them, or block them from shooting you, so why use Shotgun?

Lemme put this into perspective you might relate to, let's say me and you are playing a League Darts match before 0% scheme was introduced, we are playing some sonic map, we both have our last worms and it's my turn, I am winning by 1 point, I can just drill us both off platform so your last worm is plopped, therefor I win the game because you can't throw your last worm. Just because it's not in the rules shouldn't make it acceptable, the aim of the game is to score points not kill other worms...

I'd also argue the point that someone experienced enough to play league games know what bng is and the biggest problem is not the he used SG but that he won match with it. Maybe just replay it ?

I guess they could just rematch with HP where it was before he used shotgun, I could make them a PNG version so they can finish it with same hides properly if they want?

They call it roperace but there is nothing stopping you chuting / jumping / walking to the finish ;)
Overall, the no using any other weapon to inflict damage to the opponent should be in the rules.
Saying that, should you be able to use the shotgun to open an opponent's hide?

Ofc this is a joke. I commented just for laughs.
But we also had a deal to continue TUS-ing next day and we never did afaik. So post is like public invite to artec to play some more. That was his win, no need to do anything about this game.
Well, also would be nice to put sg usage in rules, just in case.
