This is the best map ever made!

Yea, looks damn good))

That's only one part, the most important is how difficult it is!
-
The difficulty is a part of its look haha :)

This is perhaps the most difficult Battle Race map ever made, and it has taken people years to figure out how to complete every part.
Here is a BRSolver run of this map, one-turning it in 308.78 seconds: [attachment=1]
I am releasing this with Wyvern's permission. :)

Tranquility is terrifying when you think of how many hours went into it. I used to make much more rudimentary battlerace maps, and playtesting and revising a map took forever, and my maps were about 1/20 as intricate as wyvern's. 100+ hours is probably a reasonable estimate. This is truly the GOAT walkrace map.
Cool replay, did BRsolver always skipwalk, DC? I thought it used to walk normally in the earlier build.

a joy to watch :)

It is actually flipwalking, which is a bit faster than skipwalking. It has always done this... in fact BRSolver discovered flipwalking the very first time a working build outputted a solution.
I would actually REALLY like to make BRSolver able to walk at 1x speed. It currently is not even capable of this. It's a bit complicated because the normal 1x walk doesn't have a short repeating pattern (if you extend it to the point that it does, it is very long, longer than the width of any BR map), but CS and I have discussed this and have a plan for how to do it.
Edit: Perhaps you are remembering the BR TAS replays I made before BRSolver existed? All of those used normal-speed walking and were manually made.

I remember the struggle on this map, like never before. And it occured to me just after watching that i have never finished the map, got stuck somewhere in the last quarter and gave up in madness.. oh well..
Wyv is a genius, probably not a human too and easily 1 of the most notable people in the history of this game that inspired me since a long time.

Wow. As brilliant as I already thought the map was, seeing the solution... holy shit.
It's amazing how he makes his map in such a way that in order to finish it, you have to revisit some parts several times. Usually, you'd have to sacrifice aesthetics for the sake of making a feasible map, but here, it's like the art is working for him. And all built from scratch!
I miss Wyvern.

This replay is, by far, sickest thing I've seen in W:A yet.
What a map...

so many awesome hours of adventure spent on this map, with many players
my most recent adventure was with kory, I was stuck at the 243s part so I'm not watching beyond that xD
love this map <3
