Title: Converting to .PNG with TUS editor
Post by: spleen17 on April 17, 2015, 04:31 PM
I have some .BIT maps that I am trying to convert to .PNG. I used the TUS editor (https://www.tus-wa.com/maps/map-editor/) and I now have a .PNG that will open in Paint, but when I try to load the same map in-game I get an error. Is there something I am missing here? Do I need to convert again to get it to work?

Thanks  :)

TUS editor doesn't reduce the colours to 256. Need to do that in paint first  :(

Thanks HHC, how do I do this? I saved as 256-colour bitmap and then saved again as .png but it still didn't work :/

Hmm? Save it right away as 256-colour png maybe?

Any half-arsed paint program should have this function.. I guess you use the one that comes with windows?
Dunno if you can do it there  :-[

Many images you wanna get as PNG? I could do it for you if needed..
