W:A Maps Collection

Hello TUS !

Some time ago, i've decided to upload all my collected maps over the years, for the w:a community.

Most maps were downloaded with a download manager,
but many maps individually, by searching worms and clan sites.
I deleted double maps with a program and sorted maps manually, as well as i could.

If anyone has maps that are missed (specially the old .bit maps series <3),
please upload and post them here, i would be thankful.
Or if anyone want to keep sort/care/update the collection, just do it.

Imagine, all working on 1 big w:a maps collection, to complete all these maps series.
But i have no idea how that could work, ideas and feedback are welcome.

It was a lot of work, but i think it is far away from the end.
So i need your help, from wormers all over the world.


Anyway, the pack includes over 36k w:a maps and more than 3 gigabyte so far.

seriously, i don't force anyone to download it and to be honest, i even don't care if no one will do that. lol
if not, then not... it's just an offer. take it or let it. ;p

i am sure, somewhere out there deep in the space of nothing, they are some crazy people like me, who want to have that.
if only 1 person is happy with it, then it is good.

even without jdownloader it isn't difficult to download 16 parts.
in the present time 3gb are nothing and mediafire gives good download speed, so where's the problem. o.O

Talking about disk space.. what is TUS hosting plan MonkeyIsland?
It's a normal hosting, dedicated server or vps?
I would be pleased to know
TUS has too much daily traffic? There is some plans with unlimited disk space and unlimited traffic (only normal personal hosting).
If I am saying shit, you can say, because I'm begginer at it. XDDD

It is not about TUS storage and 3GB. I have the space and bandwidth for such file. I just don't see the need.
TUS doesn't save mappacks as external files on the server. When you download a mappack from TUS, it creates the zip file on the fly and sends it you. It is designed like this to have better analysis on the maps. For example, when you download a mappack, all the maps inside gets +1 on their download count. You can edit the mappack online etc etc ...

TUS runs on 2 servers. The main is VPS which this website is running on. The second one is TUS storage which has over 500GB space. I can put the 3GB file on TUS storage server and there will be no pressure on TUS main server. But as I said, I don't see anything good about this kind of external files.
