Some did half awesome-half commercial, and some did full awesome. So if you don't like a song, don't stop on that one.

I'm not a huge fan of Yak's newer stuff but his early shit was awesome, and the album "My Claim" is still really solid today. (His "Missing Cassettes" early mixtape shit was dope too.) He got a little too hipster there for me for a while though. Nowadays I think he barely even raps and instead is focusing on his 'real' career. I've been friends with him on Facebook for a long ass time and he barely makes a peep these days.

I've been following Mr. Toxic since he first popped up online 7 years ago. He just dropped another album less than a year after the last one. Kinda feel a bit sorry for him as he doesn't seem to have gained many listeners over time. I haven't gotten sick of his voice yet. By the way, not sure if this is exactly the best example of a Hip Hop song, but the group has a good influence of rap. This one of my favorite songs, it is sang in Spanish language, but it also features the Brazilian famous singer Maria Rita singing in Portuguese language.
