That is no proof, that is some random message with no lyrical/musical reference, basically just like what you did with simply saying Falkenbach is NSBM!
I did a search on "Falkenbach" on that document you provided and that was the only positive hit I got, did I miss an important part?
Also, I am sure HHC has more insight on this topic than I do since the last time I researched this topic has been like 10 years when I actually listened to Falkenbach and was curious myself.
Falkenbach is no NSBM, never been associated with it either.
Antifa sucks, you shouldn't pay too much attention to them. They see nazi's around every corner.. pretty much everything that isn't left is extreme right to them. Whether it be conservatives, patriots or just about everyone that doesn't support their ideals 100%.
The worst part is that they don't value discussions in words. They believe in the way of violence to achieve their goals. That's why I always call them the Antifa-fa
I just browsed through the article btw, didn't read it too well.
I'm used to reading bullshit in the papers when it comes to subcultures so I don't really care nemore about what people have to say about the matter. The papers are always looking for sensation or stuff to shock their audience with. And this antifa article has another objective: to make it look more nazi than it really is.
Not that NSBM isn't nazi.. duh, otherwise they wouldn't call it so. But don't make it bigger than it is. It's a small portion of the BM scene and like the article states, with a few exceptions limited to underground bands and not affecting the popular ones. Antifa suggests that even bands like Falkenbach or Nargaroth are NSBM based on guilt by association or whatever. This is just not true.
NSBM bands may include NS themes in their music, but that doesn't make the music itself nazi per se. It's just one of many themes. It would be called just BM if people weren't so keen on distancing themselves from anything that reeks of NS-ism.
Doesn't take away the fact though that some bands are really nazi's, but the vast majority of the people who listen to these bands aren't. Only about 30% has any serious nazi sympathies IMO and those are mostly just basement nazi's or teens with angst xD
The propaganda value of this music is negligent. Only people who fancy BM will like it, to the rest of the population the music just sounds like crap (like it's supposed to lol).
If you're looking for a good list of NSBM bands:
http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Socialist_Black_Metal_bandsBands that aren't on there shouldn't be considered as such.
As said, be a little wary about calling people nazi's who listen to some of these bands. Only about 30% of those that do are (remotely) right wing extremists. The rest is just ordinary black metal fans.
AFAIK I'm the only one here at TUS who listens to a lot of the bands listed. And yeah, I ain't got no sympathy for nazi's either. I just like underground BM music and you're gonna have to be picky not to stumble across NSBM then. I'm not picky cause I don't care for politics in music, or lyrics in general (they are inaudable anyway haha); and I find that a lot of these bands play BM the way I like it: cold, hateful and full of energy.
