"slav" occured from slavic word "slovo" meaning "word". Some countries have this root in their names like Slovakia and Slovenia. As for video I would have called it Russes because it is national satire but not ethnic.

Sorry for the ignorance, honestly thought slav was a name just like ned/chav/hooligan etc :/
