Which drugs are most hazardous and addicting for us human and why? Yes there are likely drugs that are way worse than the ones that are in the poll. Still I am curious to know your thoughts on the matter.

They are all safe in moderation and limited use, however they are all as dangerous as each other with severe abuse, like pretty much most things.

Personally, I think alcohol is the worst from a social aspect, from my personal experience, people on heroin usually lock themselves up in their house and don't bother anyone, some of them are prone to stealing and being sneaky af, people who are drunk are always loud af, annoying af, and stupid af and are a lot harder to deal with than heroin users.

Are you saying that alcohol has the worst effect on health and life expectancy compared to other drugs?

Not trying to be rude, but what I said is clear enough.

Every drug, with moderated and sensible use, can be used safely, depending on the person(notice I said "can", as in it means it's a possibility, not a guarantee).

Every drug, which is severely abused, can lead to severe disabilities, and death.

More people are affected negatively by alcohol, than heroin, because most people are smart enough to avoid heroin, unfortunately most people are dumb enough not to avoid alcohol.

I wasn't offended at all Komodo, I am glad you were thorough.

Human in drunk state are normally loud, annoying, and, dumb. People that are in control and drink in moderation aren't necessarily dumb. People addicted to a substance aren't necessarily always dumb as well. Here is why: People with addiction are responsible for their choice of consuming harmful substances into their bodies. But what I find more Interesting is why? What were the reasons behind the decision in consuming e,g alcohol, crystal meth, and sugar in the first place. Depression? That can be the most common driving factor that introduces a human to dangerous substances regularly. It can also be because of bad uprising and toxic surrounding that the person is in. If it is about uprising with a bad environment and guardians, it can make the person less intelligent but also a victim. If the person is an outcast and chooses the wrong crowd, that alone can have a negative effect. Because the choice becomes more easier to embrace contra to the morally right one. The intellect might not know any better due to wrong environment. A sense of belonging is where most human want to be in, even if it is good or bad.

I wouldn't drag everyone under one comb and call them dumb. The world isn't as black as white.

I said dumb because it simply means uneducated because they lack intelligence.

Also, I said most, not everyone, keywords are crucial.

Alcohol is by far the most dangerous because it's legal, easy to obtain, and relatively cheap. It quickly becomes habitual and leads to loss of inhibition, foolish mistakes, and regret. I've strayed dangerously close to full-blown alcoholism a time or two but thankfully I never hit rock bottom. These days I still drink, but less often than I used to and in far lesser amounts. I don't do any drugs anymore - I don't even smoke weed. Experimenting with substances is fun when you're younger but it shouldn't become a lifestyle or a habit. I have friends who still do a bunch of drugs recreationally (or habitually) and I view it as sad and a bit pathetic because I know from first-hand experience that they're not having an amazing time. Drugs are cool the first time or two that you do them but eventually they are kinda boring and just make you feel weird and crappy. Sobriety is actually pretty awesome once you're mature enough to handle it and not rely on escapism via drugs. A good friend of mine that I paint with is heavy into drugs and it's kinda sad seeing someone smoke meth lol.

As far as the most addictive drug goes, definitely meth. Meth releases more dopamine in your brain than any other drug by far. It's at least 4x more addictive than heroin. That's why people get hooked on it. It makes the user feel amazing and great so they keep chasing that high and before they know it, they haven't slept in a week or more, look like a skeleton from not eating and being so energetic, and have ruined their life. At first meth can be very 'speedy' and act as a stimulant but for regular users it doesn't really get them all tweaked out. Instead it just makes them feel happy and alive because of the dopamine flow. To put it another way: A meth high releases roughly 50x more dopamine in your brain than sex... it's literally 'better than sex.' Even though it's a problem in many places I'm kinda surprised that it's not more widespread.

Also, I said most, not everyone, keywords are crucial.

Also, the underlying reasons that led a person to unhealthy lifestyle are crucial to factor in before labeling them as dumb.

There are plenty of dumb people that doesn't take substances as well.

I pretty much agree with skunk3.
