yoyo guys. anyone understands something about laptops?? im looking for one which i prolly will get christmass present but i have no idea which comp would be good. i asked from my friend but keep saying that i should buy dämn real computer lol and he doesnt know alot about laptops. so dont say that i should buy normal computer cus laptop will be more useful for me in 1 or 2 year. what i wait from da computer is that it gotta work like a trains toilet.
any proposal?
i have been looking for this one. it costs 700e in a local store. my mate said it would be pretty ok laptop.

Hmm.. have you considered the option of buying a 250-300e normal comp now and buying a laptop when you really need it?
You can pay 700e for a nice laptop now, but it won't be top notch anymore in 1.5-2 years. :-[

well, my parents r gonna buy it now so i rather choose the laptop. doesnt need to be in top in 1-2 years. if it works the same than today, its good. my recent computer worked same all these years and it was enough.

You get a LOT more power from a 700€ desktop PC than from a 700€ laptop. That alone makes the desktop PC the better choice usually, except you got other reasons to buy a laptop. :)

yea i know. i dont need power for games anyway, just long age. laptop will be more useful than normal one when i go to study after civil service, thats why im planning for it.
u can offer some good desktop comps/prices. i would need a new screen for it tho.

ASUS is a good brand, known for very solid computers. HP is the worst, I read a study which proved 1 out of 3 HP`s stop working within three years. That being said, roping will never be the same once you switch to a laptop NC, even with an external KB plugged in ^^ trust me

I'd recommend DELL and stay away from VAIO.

get a macbook, u can use the macOS which pwn for ur daily tasks and install windows xp with no problem to play worms.
but well 13 tuuman malli. Alkaen 1 199 €.
if u dont want one mac, get a dell ae.

rofl vaio, my friend bought expensive vaio one year ago and its slow as my parents old 98 lol. yah i ve heard that dells r long working and asus shouldnt be much worse. my parents got dells laptop and it has worked dämn great so far. their earlier comps were all piece of crapxD

Roping does feel different in laptops or in tft monitors in general. The way it refreshes the screen is different and in my opinion it does affect roping. I changed my nice tft monitor to old school crt monitor just because it feels so much better to rope. But thats how I feel, you might like it better who knows.

Agreed. But you can always get an cooling stand underneath it. Costs like 20 euros.

ahh i thought my current tft screen just sucks but prolly thats the reason. i changed crt to tft year ago and roping has looked/felt so weird since that.

yah and ice cold ED makes laptop feel cold too. lol is that really a serious problem with new laptops? does led screen make it that hot? and does that cooler help there much? i know nothing about computers huhuhu

ye camelo it is really a serious problem if it works cool, then this will work faster and for long time.
if it runs hot, this might be slow and die fast.
just get a cooler to put below it , and this will help a lot.

Laptops are completely pointless unless you need to carry it with you all of the time for work, school, etc. For mobile web surfing we have our phones these days. For gaming, desktops are far better than laptops because they are more upgradeable, easier to service, easier to clean, have better cooling / air flow, etc. Unless you are a college student and/or have a job that requires it, I really don't see the point in owning a laptop anymore. To me they are as outdated as CD players.
