I would post pictures about buses, subway, trams and trains too, but that would be boring already, so i post a pic of my bike.
It's currently under construction tho (and wasn't 100% ready either, when i took this picture), I'm installing an internally geared hub and probably gonna change the whole frameset If I can sell the curent one.
I like building my bike the same as riding it :)
Nice cars btw, some of you guys must have won the lottery having so many cars! (even if not at the same time..)

Fastest car on tus, ran a 10.7 @ 132 mph at the track this season. I shut it down for a new build over this winter, bigger turbo time! You guys spend all your money on new cars, I spend all mine on new transmissions and drivetrain. I went through 2 transmissions and a transfer case last season putting down 600hp+ on my AWD. Going to buy a gopro this winter, so next year I can get some footage at the track for you guys of a few nice redline pulls.
Just realized you guys probably wont understand the numbers I put up there. We race 1/4 mile here in the USA, so it would be .4 kilometer in 10.7 sec @ 212 kph. Anyone who drags over there know how long your tracks are? I'm interested to know.

My b5 s4 would've given you a run for your money... Dyno'd at 330bhp/390lbtq - I went stage 2+ with it: K04, MTM chip, milltek exhaust.
That being said, 10.7 is fast... I figure I would've ran low 11's for sure... I always figured about 11.3 based on similar tunes and setups people on audizine had at the time.

These eclipses were actually made in the USA, strange for a Mitsubishi car. Only a handful in europe, they are very rare. Many people have imported them though to get a taste of the legendary 4G63.

Yeah, I really need to get some hoosiers, the 10.7 was on street tires. I'm not that great of a driver as well, my 1/8 times suck when compared to the power my car is putting out. Just need more practice really. If I get into the 9's this next season I will be thrilled. A lot of the power my car is making is due to it running on corn, I have it on e85 with a pretty aggressive tune.

Haha I love this meme.....Honda fanboys are about the funniest creatures ever. I'm not a big fan of ricers, I actually removed the stock arch spoiler on my eclipse since those pictures were taken, too ricey for me. My holset turbo loves high boost, I run it at about 35-38 psi (2.5 bar), I got a monster spike from a bad wastegate diaphragm and blew the seals out of my turbo. Have to get it rebuilt this winter.

Yea its rare. Drove it 6 years and sold it to a french guy which came by airplane from paris just to pick up my williams at zurich airport. I had tears in my eyes. :-X
daaaaaaamn and he drove from zurich to paris with it then? i assume that u had it in great condition, can u tell how much did he paid u for it? thats such a hoooooot hatch!! i just bought mk2 GTI 16v but gonna show photos later coz its gettin shape now, need some fixes
€ 3'500 was the prize, couple of years ago, 12 years old and almost 200.000 kilometres. Some little fixes needed but engine and other important parts were fine.
That paris guy was a fan and yea, he drove it back from zurich to paris.
6 years before I bought it for € 4'000. Good deal for me.
Hf with your car, redi.

Nice bike Komito, I like Merida's design. Is it the Matts 10 series?
Thanks lalito :)
It's great to be out on a bike again after all these years :D
It's a Big 7 Alloy 100 from the Big.Seven series, I did look at the Matts 10-V & also the Matts 40-D, but I didn't like the colours.
It was a choice between the 100 & the 500, but the 500 was £849 the 100 was £550 although I got it for £500, which funnily enough was my maximum budget :D
The only visual difference between the 100 & the 500 is all the yellow on the 100 is green on the 500(my favourite colour !).
I plan to do downhill track stuff with some of my brothers mates, if I really enjoy it and keep at it for at least a year I will invest 1k - 2k on a really good full suspension bike, as the Big 7 is a hardtail(front suspension only).
bikes, cool!
nice rides, guys!
i used to dirtjump for a few years in highschool, but ended up selling my bike and buying a camera. after 2 years i sold the camera and bought another bike. it was crappy, so i kept only the frame and started to build my own, this is how it is today:
510062.png
28" wheels, 7 speed IGH, fully assembled by myself (even the wheels)
(i bought a camera since then, so finally i have both :))
28" wheels, close to mine which are 27.5" haha.
Quite surprised you only have 7 speed, is that all you want or do you plan to upgrade?
It's quite cool you built your bike yourself, that's respectable :D I used to be able to repair my own bike take it all apart put it together like 15 years ago, but I forgot all that stuff since I haven't done it like since 1999, quite funny that actually, the very same year I discovered WA and got into PC gaming, I stopped playing with bikes n stuff...
27,5, the odd one!
now mine are 622 to be precise, which is the diameter of the rims in mm. depending on the tire, it's either called 28" (mostly trekking bikes), 29er (xc/freeride), or 700c (road). with my current tires I'm technically between a 28" and a 29er..
yeah I too forgot a lot about repairing in 2 years while I didn't have a bike, but got back in business fast and I like fixing my bike almost as much as riding it. not to mention that buying the equipment once is cheaper than taking it to the service every time..
I'm quite satisfied with 7 speeds, yea. my total gear ratio is 244%, which is not too much, compared to a 3x7-8-9 set which is usually around 400%, but it's enough for me most of the time. there's definitely more pros of it for me, than cons (or rather a derailleur has more cons than pros over an IGH).
Can you explain the pro's?
And yeah my bike is more of an all-round bike, because I cycle to work now, I live in the middle of f@#!ing nowhere where no shops are open after 7pm until 7am the next day and since I stick to my nightshift routine it's good to be able to cycle to the next town to the 24 hour Tesco now(where I work lol).
And I can also do beginner downhill track stuff, which I haven't tried yet, only had the bike 2-3 weeks, but there is a local downhill track less than a mile away from my house that the owners of the shop where I got my bike made, they had JCB's (diggers) in and everything, supposed to be really good.
My brothers mates go to Glentress (if you heard of that) it's like THE bike track of Scotland lol.

Yeah, they say a hardtail with a good front suspension is perfect for beginner dh. I went once without any suspension tho, it was a nightmare. But probably more because of my bad brakes.. Never heard of Glentress, I'm not much into dh. Do you know Danny MacAskill tho?
Pros of an IGH:
- 100% weather sealed shifting
less maintenance (oil once a year)
much less wear on cogwheels and the chain (spares you money)
less overhanging parts
close to instant shifting
it shifts even when you're not moving
you can jump from any gear to another with one move of your wrist (if you have gripshift).
I'm gonna say the cons too:
- a bit heavier than a derailleur system
the weight is concentrated on the rear wheel
you lose some pedaling efficiency because of the igh system (you probably won't feel it tho)
requires more time and savviness to fix if it's broken
with the most IGHs you shouldn't shift while pedaling
atm there aren't too many of it that's good for extreme cycling

Yeah, the one close to the 24/7 (where you pass by offices and factories) is called "The Grove", the forest place that's where I cycle to work and back, it's kinda freeky cycling through there at night in pitch black haha, but with my ridiculously bright as f@#! headlight & liquid dnb on ma headphones it's really quite tranquil too :)
The other place is more than likely "The BMX track" if it's the one close to the golf course & sea, I haven't actually been there for yeeeeears, it's supposed to have been upgraded as well, will have to check it out :)
I had few problems with my bike it was making some weird noises so I traded it in and upgraded to this:

This is all taken straight from the Merida website (where my bike was ordered), I have added a mount for my nightlight on the front handlebar(will take a picture at some point), i've strapped a little rear light to the back, don't even know what it's called but it's good the guy gave me it for free with the nightlight I bought, I added a standard sort of black bottlecage(the same one from old bike) and I will add a 2nd for really long cycles soon, I have ordered lime coloured tubecaps, I have also ordered a chainguard (although the guy said he needs to replace the chainring I think it was called because it doesn't have the proper part to connect a chainguard).
Em, that's about it, i've ordered gloves too and bought a helmet cuz one my hands are starting to freeze cycling to work at night and the helmet is for serious downhill jumps I intend to do :D

because the dollar is weaker than the euro and the only reliable way of travelling around the states besides car is plane so it's pretty much a necessity, or was before low cost.
why else?
I heard a Camaro in USA coasts $30K while here in Brazil coasts $80K
:(
I heard that girls at 16 they receive new silicon tits for their birthdays, in the States

Well when I saw this thread I didn't feel like going outside and taking a photo. I could just do a quick Google image search... done. :)
I upgraded my stock stereo system with JL Audio component front speakers, JBL rear speakers, and dual JL Audio 12" subs in the hatch! Not the most impressive system ever but I don't need mega power in a fairly small car. Aside from that I haven't done any modifications to my car. For me a car is just a tool to get from point A to point B, but I do have to drive a lot so a decent sound system is required.
100% self-built, from lacing the wheels.

That's a neat thing Prankster :)
100% self built? Like you ordered parts and put them together? Or you actually made the parts yourself too??
Nice bike! I enjoy cycling :)

The former, making the parts would be a whole different story :)
There's some British parts in it, too: On-One frame, DMR chain tensioner, Brooks saddle.
Currently...
2015 Porsche 911 C4S
2019 Cadillac Escalade...
2008 Bentley GTC
2015 Vespa Primavera
Would to dump the Escalade for either a new Cayenne S or a 1967 Ford Bronco...
Also may dump the C4S and the Bentley for a new GT3
Post a pic porra!!!!
Not working from my phone. Will post once I get to my laptop.
