Should I come back to TUS?
« on: January 20, 2020, 10:29 AM »
After many months of being gone without a computer, I finally got my own computer. So, should I come back to TUS? I've been busy with a lot of things in my life & playing other games than worm games.

If you wonder whether TUS is still active and whether it's worth to play league games, I'd say you may find some opponents to play with as the league is not completely dead, but you'll likely need to snoop for games.

If you're worried that TUS/Worms are going to take away your time a lot and you feel like you can't control playing it moderately, I'd say give it a try anyway, and see how this affects your daily life.

If you want to support and promote people to play games like Worms W:A rather than other games, I'd say you better come back soon!  :)

If you just want to play W:A, yes.

If you want an active singles / clanner league don't waste your time.

W:A is still the best game of all time but the activity is very low these days with the vast majority of players online at any given time being random noobs. You can find good games here and there but it just depends on your luck and what time of day you get online. It's not like the golden era of Worms.

Here's the thing guys, I don't play WA competitively, or play games such as snoop or others. I came to this site to post the things I made so I won't lose them, & making speechbanks such as black ops 3 Specialist Characters. But when the time when things are f@#!ed up for me. I couldn't play WA or make speechbanks for that game. I've been playing ravenfield & rivals of aether on my new computer nowadays, also PS4 games. I'm still keeping this TUS Account, cause I don't want to lose everything I made for Certain worm games like Armageddon.

If don't have enough disk space on your computer to download all your assets you've made so far, you can use cloud storage like Dropbox.

If you're afraid that you'll lose all your assets on this site if you don't keep logging in, that won't happen because it doesn't depend on whether you here or not, unless TUS server goes down.

If you want your assets to be accessible by other wormers, they're going to enjoy your work throughout all TUS lifespan anyway.

If you somehow feel guilty for not doing more speechbanks or feeling responsible for maintaining your assets on TUS, that's totally up to you, you're not obligated by anything here.
