There's a place in New Zealand called Goose Bay where people used to stack stones, although I guess they stopped at some point based on Google images now. This was my crappy addition when I was 13. I put my real name on it, haha. And a picture of Bloopy from a few years before I adopted that as my own nickname:

ae bloop thanks for the heads up, valuable lesson. i'd rather learn it before any accidents so thanks

on my way to shop i put the stone on ground level so it wont be falling to anyone's head

i'm gonna start a habit of always dissambeling my stacks after a good picture

better to be safe than sorry

soooo what do u think of the pic bloop, it took me like 1 hour trying to balance it there xD just sit there on edge and turning it a bit back and forth and leaving it leaning on the side with less weigh, while i was sitting there i doubted myself alot thinking "i picked too huge of a rock, shuda picked smaller one", so yeah i am glad with the result

Ah so it took an hour, now it makes sense. That's a nice dedicated effort!

I'm sure most of your stacks are safe enough, unless you have a habit of making them 5ft tall or on cliff edges. :-X

yeah they are, and yeah no habit. i did look at spots at ground level first but there weren't many good rocks in that area except in the forest... and i get nervous sitting in a forest for 1 hour focusing on a stack, what if a snake comes and i don't notice it or some shit lol, so i rather sit on a spot that has human acitivity
