what if an outage happens?
Have flashlights & candles ready.
Turn on additional power supply if you have.
Power on radio.
Move cold food outside or in basement.
Have can food, corn & wheat type of food available.
Seek out nearest neighbor.
Head to a common place where people normally gather such as a town square.
Listen to people in charge & follow instruction.
Do not loot & riot, remain calm.

pros:
- average life is not that bad here anymore
- the party place for western people, because everything is cheaper compared to their countries
- national food is very good
- people are more and more opened for new things (at least in the capital)
- beautiful girls and landscape blabla, this is relative

cons:
- sadness is coded into our DNA, because we are proud of our sad history (learning about sad things for 12 years, then be happy in your life ;))
- most of the people are hard to trust, because they are jealous, if you are on a different life level than them
- instead of solving their own problems, people blame the actual government (just the usual stuff)
- average people are way too stupid, too many clever people emigrated (but can't blame them)
- people think they are very cool if they buy a cheap audi/bmw/mercedes that german people already throwed into trash :D

ok, rewriting this cuz j0hny wrote about Poland as well

Poland

Pros:

a) money:
- a lot of stuff is somewhat cheap

b) government:
- when it comes to internet protests, they do listen and act accordingly
- in alliance with United States (make that of what you will)

c) healthcare:
- is usually effective in most common physical problems

d) minorities:
- German minority is a thing
- some towns/cities have English translations all over public places, usually also paired with german and russian/ukrainian

e) culture:
- pretty decent culinary
- has both access to mountains and beaches
- some cities host some of the largest game tournaments
- extreme weather disasters are very rare
- has Germany neighboring to the west

Cons:

a) money:
- very bad currency exchange, USD is about 3.8 PLN
- minimal salary is very low
- attempting to buy something that costs at least four-figures will make you broke
- schools aren't receiving any extra budget from the government for equipment (or related)
- is dependant on Russia for gas

b) government:
- very corrupt and untrustworthy government
- some projects get heavily underestimated to the point where the government can run out of budget
- taxes get unpredictably thrown on all kinds of categories of products

c) healthcare:
- public healthcare leaves a lot more to be desired
- very obscure diseases aren't researched
- mental health is yet to be discovered properly, they just give you prescriptions and kick you out
- before corona, you had to go to doctor's office and risk lives of others with waiting physically in a queue just to get a sick leave

d) minorities:
- religion is forced into you pretty early in your life, and it has a pretty significant impact on some parts of daily life, whether you like it or not
- lgbt-phobic, because everyone can't tolerate anything but being cisgender/heteroromantic/heterosexual
- racist, anyone non-white is a rare occurrence here and chances are they'll get laughed at
- depression and dysphoria is very common

e) culture:
- most people are ignorant / stupid
- everyone who can communicate in a foreign language plans to (or already did) move out to German or English speaking countries
- lots of Ukrainian immigrants due to their worse economy, which can cause language barriers
- will laugh at every single weakness
- protests hardly output anything beneficial
- independence day usually ends up in riots
- old homeless ppl try to scam on the streets
- speaks one of the hardest Latin-based languages

sorry, im a pessimist by nature
