I've been playing poker for a long time and I've only caught a royal flush twice. Nice hand!

My weekly IRL poker game has been on hiatus even before the Covid19 pandemic. People would show up but didn't want to play and instead would just talk and smoke weed and get drunk and watch sports on TV... annoying since I don't even like most sports. I have tried online poker on various platforms but never for actual money. I am sure that it's probably a better experience when real money is involved because I know that when it is free to play, people act like complete idiots. All ins pre-flop every single time? Yeah, no thanks. It's not worth my time trying to outsmart these people when there's nothing to really gain or lose.

I love poker but i'm not a big fan of it online as you can't see the tells as easily in real life.

I've played a game with my mates during lockdown were we all signed into pokerstars to a private form, and then set up a zoom meeting so we could also see each others faces and have that dialog which we usually get on our monthly poker nights. We just used the PS free money but then paid each other with real money via Paypal so PS didn't take an ante etc.

It was really fun having the zoom windows with webcam by the side of the PS window.

ps. forget poker, play clanners!
