For example: If you look 30, you could look younger or older. And do you act your age?

I'm just curious.

Thanks.

I think I probably look my age more or less. In any case, it is the second question that I would like to focus on. Do I act my age? The short answer is no, I make a conscious effort to act younger, at least when it comes to positive behaviors.

I recall reading a study where they took a group of elderly men from a nursing home and placed them in a setting that was designed to make them feel younger. Their new environment was decorated to resemble the world of 20 years ago (even using magazines, newspapers, movies, TV and radio programs from 20 years ago), and the participants were encouraged to act as if they were, in fact, living in that earlier time period again. The idea was to see if changing their mindset about their age could actually affect their physical and mental well-being. After the experiment, there were notable improvements in their health, such as better memory and physical strength.

We become what we think about. Think and act like an old man, and you'll be an old man. Obviously, you don't have to repeat the mistakes you made or keep all the negative behaviors you had when you were younger, but don't give up on your younger self completely.

I've been told I look a little bit younger, whenever people guess my age they always come up short by 3-5 years.

It's a bit of a weird question these days, there's almost no consistency to how people act these days, I see people as either stuck up and tight, or laid back and loose. The world is way more faster paced with more variety than there ever has been, people are more focused on their own identity and personality more than ever before in the western world because for the most part the majority have the freedom of spare time and spare money mixed with a whole lot of boredom and lack of immediate purpose.

I'd say I'm a bit of a double edged sword... Laid back and loose, very chill most of the time. I have a high tolerance to how people act in general so long as they aren't maliciously hurting other people. Yet at the same time I have a very low tolerance to people who are selfish, greedy, maliciously ignorant, racist etc. Which happens A LOT!

I praise people a lot for doing right and also discipline people a lot for doing wrong.

One moment you might get the intellectual rational or laid back adult , the next, the younger hot headed and pissed off strict guy.

99% of the people think I am younger just by looking at me. Usually they say I have around 25 years, but I have 33. So I usually try to show indirectly to someone I am talking for the first time that I'm not as young as they think. Usually some people begin to treat me as if I was a very young adult, almost a teenager if I don't express myself enough. I don't shave my beard completely, because I think people would think I am a teenager.

About acting as a young person, well... I use some clothes that are more related to a young person, but I usually mix them with clothing of more mature people. I think in the end I look more younger than older. I like to go out and go to the streets at night, go to clubs, so I definitely have behavior of young people, I talk using some slangs and other things that look younger too. I started to work very late, only few years ago, so I am definitely less mature than I should for some things, like cleaning my own house, cooking, these stuff I am a completely noob.

For other things I am mature. For example, driving on a roadtrip, I try to drive safe as I am responsible for other people's lives. Saving money is also something I know how to do. I don't waste money. I have self control on drug usage. I work seriously and I am compromised with my job and what I do or what I say. I usually try to be educated with people, etc.

I have several friends that are younger than me and several friends that are older than me. I had relationships with people that are younger than me and people that are older than me. I have a good relation with all ages I think.

So, for some things I am "old" other things I am "young", but I guess I act more as a young person than an old person. I think my spirit is younger.

I used to look younger than my age 3 years ago. At the age of 27 I looked like 24.
But the last years of my life made me look older than I am, so I am 30 y.o. guy looking 32-33.

Acting? I am acting my age when it comes to serious adult things or some important moments. In other cases like leisure and spare time communication I prefer to act next level to a teenager but a level before a complete adult/husband/father. Just a bro, quite often a bruuuh
