I haven't played the campaign still, but one of the W:A players (the one who also did big tutorial video) said that campaign was the only good thing that has happened to Worms since wa  :D
Rope is, of course, even worse than in Reloaded: can't do anything at all anymore, they introduced teleport gun race though, which is similar but still not what you'd expect. Normal gameplay is normal, can't say anything good or bad there.
Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it

The fun starts at 1:27  I'm glad Bethanny understands the plight of WA gamers.

It's not surprising that most WA players, and by that I mean players who have spent a LONG time getting used to WA don't like WCW, but everyone else who hasn't played WA really enjoys WCW.

No Worms game will ever be an improvement to WA, ever...

Fact.  I think throughout the years T17 has proven that they have no intent of creating a game that spawns a large dedicated community.  Outside of a subscription fee, T17 has nothing to gain by making such a game.  Their worms games sell well enough even with their limited nature in terms of customizability and in depth gameplay.  They have been just fine slowly destroying the ninja rope, the very foundation of this community, whether people like to admit it or not.  To be honest, I think the ninja rope is the reason the majority of people have stuck around long enough to grow to appreciate the default schemes.

Where do you think T17 went wrong, Dave?

I think T17's main problem atm is that they try stuff they dont have the capabilities of.

Crazy golf is pretty good imo.

I don't think T17 has went wrong at all, not at all.

I honestly think we have grown to like WA so much (like i've played it since 1999...) that the others just don't have the same feeling which will always make them 2nd best...

I enjoy every single Worms game there is, but WA is just special, it was the 1st one I got heavily addicted to and actually spent half my life mastering, i've grown to love everything about it and idolized every feature... I think most addicted WA players are the same.

There isn't anything wrong with any other Worms game though.

Think about this and be brutally honest with yourselves, if THIS community was in charge of making a new Worms game, with a budget of all Worms games combined, even WE couldn't make a better game, all we can do is continue to make little improvements to this one now and again.

I personally just want those good graphics, new terrain styles ect., but with w:a gameplay. that's it. other than that, there's not much u can improve. oh, and new weapons maybe
