Is there any way to join wormnet using an irc client?

I really like XChat in linux and pro snooper and wheat snooper are too laggy (well, wine is too laggy)...

Can someone explain me if is possible and how? i dont know if there is a channel or not... thanks

Wheat has a Linux version afaik (don't ask me where though, I have no idea D:).

Edit: After some research, it seems you'll have to compile it yourself following those steps.

It's possible using IRC-clients but the password is classified information.

you can compile wheat for your linux install, yes.
but may also use an IRC client if you know the wormnet's password.

Because technically, using unauthorised clients to connect to WormNet isn't allowed and can get you banned.
