Let's re-do this..
I wanted to record some replays I have and I noticed that the replay files weren't possible to open.
What I did was this:
I realized that it didn't bind the file to WA.exe so I made it to "open as" with WA.exe. It worked but now I cannot right click it to save schemes, maps, ect. And since I didn't know that fraps wouldn't work, I need to be able to extract the replay to make it possible to record it.
What do I do? How do I return the file to normal again??
For some reason my saved replays won't start.
It keeps telling me to "run with".
What happened? How do I fix this?

do not change the .WAgame default app with windows properties.
it has to be set as "Worms Armageddon", not "WA.exe" in the list of programs available for .WAgame.
if "Worms Armageddon" doesn't exist, reinstall the latest update and then try again

I have this exact same problem, where can I change the default app settings?
edit: I reinstalled the 3.6.31.0 update

in the same place where you messed them up.
Properties -> "Change" default app -> Worms Armageddon

Ok, found ultimate solution to this problem.
For Vista, 7 and 8. (not sure about XP yet)
just run this bat file: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/worms-armageddon/replays-dont-work-18043/?action=dlattach;attach=109292

I get access denied :(

I get access denied :(
did u try reinstalling 3.6.31.0 and then right clicking a replay file > properties > default application 'change' > worms armageddon
-
ok, it's because Windows denies access to you (only) to delete that.
this one should work.

It worked! Thanks a bunch!

Fix has been applied to the next beta update.
