Steam can't write in my disc forcing me to run as Admin
« on: October 26, 2017, 06:59 PM »
Steam can only write/edit in my disc D if I run it as admin, and if I try to run in non admin mode it won't save my modifications, can anyone help me to make my D drive writable by setting these permissions without running Steam as admin? I can't find it.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Service Pack 1.

You set permissions at the "Security" tab in folder or file properties. If you don't get the option to properly Change permissions for your User, click the owner and change it to your user. After that is done, you should be able to add yourself into the list of permissions.
