Title: Clan & Community colours
Post by: TheKomodo on March 09, 2011, 01:46 PM
When visiting TuS at the bottom where there is a list of everyone currently logged into TuS.

Would it be possible to have seperate colours for people who are in your Clan and for people who are in your Community?

Like MI has Red and D1 has Blue.

Sometimes there are in excess of 20-50 people logged onto TuS and it would be easier to look for players in your Clan/Community if you want to PM them while they are logged on.

Too many people have plans to color those usernames. We wanna sell it 10,000$ each. So a clan with 10 members can pay 100,000$, ehm, only 99,999$ to get themselves colorful.

(what happens with colors for people with more than 1 group?)

Well, that doesn't matter does it? Because it would only show the colour if someone is in SAME group as you, so they can be in as many as they like, and it works for everyone :)

For example, if me and wormf00d were both in b2b and some other community, it would still just show colour for community, doesn't matter which one, just to show YOUR fellow community mate is on :)

how about one colour for clan mates, and one colour for community members

doesnt matter if you're in many clans/communities, just show one colour for everything

And if you are in both same community and clan, it would show clan colour, since it's usually more important.

How about sending an automatic sms as soon as some buddy is joining TUS? And please I wanna hear some sound from Roxette, with colours all around the rainbow. And it would be cool to get a facebook message when someone is joining TUS. Please MI, is this possible? I'm just to lazy to check it out, needs me damn seconds of my great time. I'm sure you Mod's can do this in one minute.

Sorry, but I could not hold it by me  :D

LOL so funny how the usual suspects mocking my idea :P

Anyway, coke, what you said is what I already said, one colour for clans and one for communities.

Even when it's bold sometimes you don't notice it, especially when tired after work.

Then why does he refuse our help when we offer it ?

PS: If he's too buzy to make it, we could do it and give him to update.

Is it just me, or just "Mad TUS" design, or how much dilligaf paid for being multi-coloured? :D

Ps.: the quality is not that good after compressing the picture twice, but the "illi" part looks green for me! :D

I want the Jamaican nick too xD

Why is everyone giving me a hard time about this lol, you all gonna grow up or what?

It isn't a fancy request and sure as hell isn't "hard work"... I was just suggesting something I thought would be useful lol.

P.S. I still want that Jamaican nick xD

haha yeah would be nice some forums have those apps to put colours on ur nick ( not asking for u to have it MI) and did u see my post about what if Im on mm+sr+ea, another dude its on mm+sr+ea so how does that colour stuff would work :D.

Copyright@jamaican flag nick.

Share that copyright, we can be partners !

Well about sharing some communities it wouldn't matter, for example I would have green for any b2b member and silver for clanmates.

For you both sr and ea will come up green, so if another member who is in sr and ea is online it will show green, it wouldn't matter if they were both, it was just to point out they are online seperately from people you are NOT in a group with, so if 50+ people are on you can just look for a few colours faster than looking through 50 names of the same colour, just saves a little bit of time, yes, it's a little lazy, but useful :)

If you know what I mean?

P.S. WE ARE THE JAMAICAN BOBSLEIGH TEAM !

Ok, if u take ur fancy request to the trash and start annoying MI to make us that awesome nick, I'll share copyright with u, if not, I'll call u copycat for ur entier worms life, BEWARE!
Sounds nice, but cant share the colour idea, I almost never check which player is online and I barely watch shoutbox.

I think that it can be useful to show people with who you are together in cup group, or with who you are paired in elimination part of cup.

But dunno... I send PMs etc when I see them online and I get no respond.

If only we knew secret service agents, kidnap the avoiders and relocate them to an interogation and force them to play!!!

Why secret service? Terroristic organizations work better :)

But with Terrorists they can make complaint...
