So I checked an old email account and discovered a lot of spam from the league that was WL (hacked to death by the looks), and my curiosity led me to google which led me here...
So I ust had a quick look at active topic posters lately for names I recognise.. dear god JID you're still playing this!? You must be the longest active WA member there is! Or are you?
Anyone else from the days of yore still around? If so... I might install WA with WINE and have a crack at a match with you :)

but as you said, i guess you were not active.. i had just made a comeback too at the time, and started a clan... was full of oldschool players trying to make a comeback... needless to say it did not work hahah we all went inactive, i think the clan name was -v- and i could not tell u what it stood for.. it was me, u, skunk3, and shamrock.. if i remember? but yeah.. lol none of us stayed active :D

yeah the rules have changed, quite possibly to the worse
btw, if you go to a random shopper game and say "caa" (CBA AFR ABL) instead of "cak", there's a chance that the host would assume that as a typo and not kick you, creating a situation where one player plays by one set of rules and the other players having another set of rules
